Hey all,
I fully paid for the game at Gamestop months ago - however where I live the pandemic shut all locations down so they mailed it to me, got in the Monday after release (boyyyy was I pist). huge fan of the original but didnt know if I would enjoy the new gameplay so I didnt pre-order the delux. Needless to say I've dumped a crisp 30 hours into the game and am obsessed. Is there a way I can DL the content from the delux addition as DLC since I have a physical copy of the standard addition?
TL;DR - I own the standard addition physical copy - can I DL additional delux material (or otherwise) for the game on the PS store?

You can download the Deluxe edition content from The PS store but it does cost 20 bucks, this does not include the chocobo chick materia which comes with the pre order from GameStop. I know that I did get the deluxe edition from GameStop but had to call customer service and they gave me a code for that materia. Hopefully this helps!

Even if you are obsessed you might find the DLC dissapointing.
cactus materia is weak Carbuncle is OK but I still preferred fat chocobo chocobo chic is interesting as you get 4 elements but rather weak.Soundtrack is super limited. I think it was like 11 tracks. Artbook is OK but there is much more content available online anyway.
Up to you. I've got the deluxe preorder but the extra content is meh for me.
