Hi im planning to buy BO4 again because bo cold war is so boring. I found a copy of bo4 for a very cheap price. Is it still active on psn? I dont like dead games

The game is still very much alive and has seen a resurgence since the release of cold war. (Around 180,000 returning players since October last year.)
As a result, you definitely won't have issues finding games. Especially in popular game modes like, TDM, Domination, hard point and search. (Blackout is pretty populated too.)
You'll hear a lot of complaints about VMPs and micro mgs. But, they really aren't as good as people make them out to be. With a little time in the game, you'll be mowing down mg and vmp users just as much as people using regular weapons.
As others have stated, there are a few hackers floating about. Although, I returned to the game about two weeks ago and haven't encountered a single Bo4 cheater. (In fact, I haven't encountered a single Bo4 cheater ever.) I'm not saying they don't exist, but, they must be incredibly hard to come by. Don't worry about them so much.
Either way, I'd absolutely recommend picking up Bo4. I mean, the game is dirt cheap (like you mentioned) so what is there to lose?

It’s still pretty active for the most part.

Depends on your definition of "active." You can still find matches, but depending on your location and when you play sometimes it will take a long time for the match to start and it won't be full. It's definitely still fun and playable though, just don't expect to be jumping in and out of matches like Warzone.

In Europe there are a lot of lobbies but only for death match domination and hardpoint (same for hardcore) but other gamemodes take like 10 minutes to find a game

Multiplayer is active but blackout is a mixed bag. Allot of mouse and keyboard cheaters and some mp jetpack hackers.

Very active. Only thing I’ve noticed is you get laggy servers sometimes on blackout.

The MP is still super active, Blackout is.... You know? Just don't play blackout. And the zombies is semi-dead but still has a fair amount of players

Not sure why everyone else might be having issues my lobbies are always full. I might have wait times to play zombies online but outside of that other multi player lobbies are good.

I play on Xbox and other than an extra 30 seconds on que times it’s fine. I haven’t seen any hackers.

May I ask what aspect of BO Cold War you find boring? I mean, it’s got some good modes on both multiplayer and zombies. Much better than BO4 imo.
ID: gpyznsqCold War is definitely not better than bo4. Cold War is just so chaotic and overwhelming. It doesnt feel like a COD game. Feels like a professional battlefield tournament each game.

Still very active in most game modes and as others have noted, there are some hackers but they are rather hard to come by. Blackout is also still very active. Still a very active multiplayer game

It’s easy to find lobbies in most modes but for me the game was plagued with server issues. It takes forever for my bullets to actually register a hit. I uninstalled because of it and haven’t played in a few months. I went back to WW2 which is surprisingly still pretty active and stable.

Its still active and tbh I still find it alot of fun. I play overwatch which is similar in the sense of abilities and specialist and as it was my first cod, it really got my interested in the game. The game is still active and as for the hacker thing, I've never seen a hacker. Seen MkB a couple times but never any hackers. Suppose it depends what gamemode and what server.

Blackout is still very very poppin on ps4. Although a lot of sweats on heavy metal. West coast servers never have problems. We runnin hella games. Come thru.

If Cold War is boring to you I ent sure why you want a game which is even more boring BO4 is a really plain release one of the worse
