This for some reason always happens on xbox. It happened to me too. The "fix" is apparently to immediately shut the game down before it has chance to auto-save, but its usually too late.

I thought the game was pretty great for the first week. Sure, it’s not super long and the end game isn’t huge, but that was as advertised imho. I got exactly what I wanted.

Then the patches, fixes, and updates started happening. After a week or two with that the game went downhill fast.

from technical perspective its a bugged mess. as a game, it has lots going for it but I'm afraid it will never be playable where every single thing is working as intended.
