Rx 6700 xt low usage

I just bought a rx 6700 xt red devil and i cant make it use more than 50% usage, any tips?

B550 tomahawk

700w bronze psu

Hyperx fury 32gb 3200

Taken off all fps limits an it still does the same. I played some other games and most games run perfect

Make sure both cables are plugged in. Best to be sure they are separate cables from the PSU.

Also sometimes the card doesn't fully get pushed into the pcie slot when installing. That would be a loss of 75w right off the bat. Check to make sure the card os properly seated in the pcie slot.

Another test you can do is benchmark it with csgo.

Is your frame rate capped at the monitors resolution? Your gpu doesn't work harder than it needs to. If you're not giving it more work it'll just work hard enough to max your fps as far as it can.

There's your problem, a 6700 XT is overkill in most games at 1080p. If you don't have Vsync on or something you're probably CPU limited depending on the game.

If you play at 1080p that will be the case in lots of games. These are 1440p cards.

Sure. My new GPU was at 50-60% usage in many games at 1080p before I upgraded my monitor.
