The game director said a few months back that “DualSense owners will be happy” and “We can’t wait for players to experience the game on that platform; it feels great with the large roster of vehicles and weapons we have,”

Haptics are present. Vibrations, Triggers go wild when shooting, and you can feel the resistance when bullets fly out. When driving or horse riding you can feel the triggers show resistance as well as when climbing. -

Man, I’m so excited for this game. I have so much fun with these games! The Far Cry games are like comfort food for me. I know what to expect, I love just playing in a sandbox blowing stuff up and shooting all kinds of weapons, I enjoy exploring the map, and honestly I enjoy some of the quirky quests you can find(like in Far Cry 5 in the beginning that guy who was into science and exploring the Galaxy, he finds some alien tech then phones home… loves stuff like that).
For me personally it is a great game to just unwind and have fun with.

Often when they do change it up (Looking at you Ghost Recon: Breakpoint) it messes with what people liked about the series.

I love watching people get shot in the head, and there being no blood on them or the environment. Really sells the brutality. They may as well be knocked out.
If you’re gonna have a game about a tyrant and public executions and guns then at least have the balls to put in some blood. Especially if the game is already rated Mature.

it's cool that there seems to be some city- type locals but the environment also just reminds me of Just Cause. Idk, I was a big fan of FC3 and 4 but this seems seriously underwhelming. They take a couple years but the only improvement I feel like I'm really noticing and into is the weapon and clothing perks and customization.
It will be a deep sale buy for me if it doesn't have glowing reviews.

Yeah, I watched a youtube streamer who got a full early release copy from the company, and the game does look to be quite fun. Great pick-up to get in a year so dry of quality games so far.

Think I’ll wait and play this once it’s reduced in price. Far cry has become stale if you ask me, wouldn’t surprise me if they have the same skill trees with the same double kills etc etc

GTA has made significant advancements and innovations in their sequels.
The jump from 3 to 4 was HUGE, for starters.
And then 5 introduced the rotating characters, and increased the fun sandbox vibe. Even the addition of first person mode was a big deal.
Far Cry 3 - 6 have introduced nothing new, but just re-branded various systems.
ID: hfdveamNo it's a lot different, Farcry hasn't evolved over 5 new titles and some standalones. GTA pushes the envelope everytime a new one is released. Just look at the difference between red dead 1 and red dead 2. Meanwhile I can play Farcry 3 and Farcry 5 and have roughly the same experience.
And I want to say before I get trashed, that that is totally fine. Farcry is Farcry, and if you enjoyed 3 you'll enjoy 6 because they're the same game with a new shiny skin and new areas. I hope this game is awesome and I hope Farcry fans enjoy it! But to say it's not following the same blueprint they all do is just silly.

Looks okay at best visually, probably plays like 4-5. Looking forward to when I buy this in a maccas parking lot from a guy on Facebook marketplace in early December.
