0:31 you can see the face better. I dont think Peter looks that bad at all. Dont understand why most of the internet complain. Is is because he doesnt look like Chris?

But I don't get all the complaining either, the character's appearances are clearly based on their comics counterparts but people expect every character to look like their MCU version

ID: hh8t5pjIts 100% because they don't look like the MCU actors. I mean hell, the Avengers characters looked perfectly fine and had excellent voice acting and dialog. People still bitched because they didn't pay each of those guys 20 Million dollars to half ass lines into a microphone.
Im glad these guys did their own thing and designed a lot of alternative costumes that they put in the game. Apparently you can get them all in game including the preorder bonuses and MCU costumes. A video just released the other day and mentioned that the costumes are super well hidden and require a lot of work to reach. One specifically requires freezing multiple waterfalls and platforming off of them before they unfreeze. So they don't require ingame currency just good ol'fashioned looking around and trying shit. Im very excited and will immediately google how to get the Drax MCU skin.

ID: hh9cvziI mean, I at least appreciated that they made him look quite different from Chris Pratt stylistically, at least with the haircut. He doesn’t suffer the same problem as the characters in the Avengers game imo.

Honestly this looks alright, i hope it does well compared to Avengers.

Sounds like gameplay has some interesting new ideas on top of some familiar ones I’m in!!

Apparently, this is getting a very positive buzz.
Why couldn't Avengers have been like this?
All these cutscenes and cinematics instead of actual combat gameplay really isn't helping convince consumers of a day one buy. Hopefully their review embargo date is relatively early.
There's a good bit of gameplay out there
I've only seen the one they showed off at the Square Enix event fighting the jelly cube. That's about all I've even seen them advertise/promote, rest have been in-game cutscenes or random short snippets.
They have already shown several gameplay videos.
Hell the launch trailer has a ton of gameplay as well
