ID: hkr6i05Hey mickey, is this an alternative 21.1.2+ kind of thing or another version ?
ID: hkr8xy9This is a special release specifically targeting support for this beta.
ID: hkrbqx9Tell them to add FSR to the game. 😉
ID: hkr6aohMickey.. Please tell the driver team to make HALO THEME SKIN for THE ADRENALIN UI.. It would be cool..
ID: hkr8w12Thanks for the idea!
ID: hkrn11dI'm having some color and display issues in the game.
If I'm in fullscreen mode the colors are very grey and washed out. It looks like this
If I'm in windowed mode the colors are vibrant but the image is so bright that I can't see very well. If I try to take a screenshot of this the screenshot looks the same as the fullscreen screenshot.
Also when switching between fullscreen and windowed mode, sometimes my display goes black until I unplug and replug my HDMI cable.
specs:
R7 5800X
RX 6800
Gigabyte M28U monitor
Windows 11
Adrenaline for Halo Infinite
HDR disabled in Windows
I will also note that the flight builds looked fine for me, but I had a different monitor and was still on Windows 10 then.
Edit: I just ran DDU and reinstalled video drivers. Now the game is even more dim, and the monitor OSD indicates that it's running in an HDR mode, which it wasn't indicating before. I can't find any way to turn off the HDR. Windows still says that it's off. This monitor while technically "supporting" HDR really shouldn't be run that way because it doesn't meet any HDR standards and it looks terrible.
Edit 2: It randomly went back to the way it was before. The monitor doesn't say it's in HDR but it's still generally washed out.
ID: hksazqlMickey do you know if the Vsync disabled dispite in game or driver settings issue with CrossfireX RX580'S is being investigated. I used to love that i could split the wattage load on a games like GTA5 and others between 2 cards. Currently since 21.10.x all games do not respect Vsync settings and just got full out when cards are in linked CrossfireX enabled config. If not can we get a note into software engineering for this to be investigated im running 95fps+ at 150w a card in GTA5 1080p maxed setting where i should be 65-90w per card. Thank you for your time
ID: hkrmskbhow about making stable and reliable drivers ?!
-
Hell yesh, AMD clutch w the day 1 drivers again.
-
running a 5600xt on low setting, avg fps increased from 50 to 100. feels so much better. so far no issues.
-
Getting ~5-10 more fps, but every bit matters when you’re playing on an RX 580.
-
Mickey
FSR is a must for halo 😀
-
I think games this year acquired a new level of shit, goodness the game looks awful and runs the same, and yet once again no FSR. Big poopy.
-
Using Vega 56, fps went from 82 to 103. Thanks for free performance boost.
-
No 390 support?
-
I currently have adrenalin 21.11.2 and I guess I'm confused on how to install this, since it doesn't show up in adrenalin when I check for updates. Do I simply download it from the linked AMD page, and it installs over my current setup?
Or do I have to remove my current version of adrenalin first? Thanks
ID: hks77aeYep, just run the installer and it treats it like a typical update.
ID: hksadmzAwesome, thanks!

Installed this and I'm getting a driver blackout every single game after about 2minutes on a 5700xt red devil. absolutely shocking drivers
