Dumb question but do you get the 4mm or 2mm for the PS5?

3 : Anonymous2021/11/26 04:05 ID: hm47qds

Would you recommend this Samsung 980 Pro? It’s about the same price and the ones with the heat sink is only $30 more.

4 : Anonymous2021/11/26 16:01 ID: hm5zm8a

How do I transfer my saved files from my original hard drive to the new one that’ll be installed?

5 : Anonymous2021/11/25 17:15 ID: hm1yi25

I ordered my ps5 today, yay me, and I'm gonna need some stuff, what headphones do you recommend and is there anything that will improve my gaming experience. Thanks

6 : Anonymous2021/11/25 18:01 ID: hm255j4

get the official ps5 headphones

7 : Anonymous2021/11/25 18:23 ID: hm289su

I've tried them at a friend's and they were too small for my gigantic head. Have any other recommendations?

8 : Anonymous2021/11/25 21:17 ID: hm2vz0d

They are plasticky feeling crappy sounding rubbish, sorry.

9 : Anonymous2021/11/26 04:52 ID: hm4chrf

Absolutely can’t go wrong with Turtle Beach Stealth 600 or 700. I believe the only difference between them is the 700s have a longer battery life and it has an app to go with it. But they will fit any multiplayer / 3D sound needs. Great headset

10 : Anonymous2021/11/26 15:03 ID: hm5s5pt

I enjoy my SteelSeries Arctis 7 a lot. However I am just your average consumer, I haven’t tried a ton out. But they are comfortable, wireless, have a long battery life between charges, and I think the 3D sounds great.

11 : Anonymous2021/11/26 16:55 ID: hm66x77

Arctis 7P. Don't get the Pulse 3D.

12 : Anonymous2021/11/26 01:52 ID: hm3sq25

Are ps5 controllers on sale for Black Friday this year?

13 : Anonymous2021/11/26 02:37 ID: hm3xt4c

So my job has provided a $500 for home office tech. I’m considering getting a 4K/60fps monitor, any suggestions?

14 : Anonymous2021/11/26 17:31 ID: hm6bqob

I picked up a samsung 28" 4K/60 HZ Monitor from best buy for $260 the other day (sale).

If you have a bigger budget there are surely a couple more that are higher end but this one looks absolutely amazing and I'm really enjoying it. 4ms response time is 100x better than what I had on my TV before.

15 : Anonymous2021/11/26 17:40 ID: hm6d31t

Ah nice! Super good deal, my buddy also sent that to me. I’ll add it to list, thank you!

16 : Anonymous2021/11/25 16:42 ID: hm1ttnu

Thinking about getting an external ssd. Mostly the Samsung t7 1tb ssd. And for a monitor, the asus tuf something 4K monitor. How’s this?

17 : Anonymous2021/11/25 18:04 ID: hm25kbv

The T7 works great for storing PS5 games and you can play PS4 games from it. And it’s actually really small. Highly recommend it.

18 : Anonymous2021/11/25 18:07 ID: hm25zoc

How about the 4K monitor. Have you heard anything about it. The 28 in one

19 : Anonymous2021/11/25 21:38 ID: hm2ymg5

Is an ssd important to play PS4 games from a speed perspective? I thought about getting an internal ssd but the price on platter-based external drives is too tempting and it’s primarily PS4 games I’ve been playing on my PS5.

20 : Anonymous2021/11/25 23:30 ID: hm3cgq4

Had a 1TB T7 for a few months. Sold it and bought a 4TB SanDisk Extreme.

21 : Anonymous2021/11/25 18:01 ID: hm253ol

Hi, so I have a ps5 and a bose soundlink speaker and airpods. my monitor does not have audio or a 3.5 mm for anything. Does anyone have a bluetooth adapto

that i can use with the bose soundlink, and if not the airpods?

22 : Anonymous2021/11/25 21:40 ID: hm2yvmk

What’s the go-to steering wheel? I’m aware that there are Logitech and Thrustmaster brands as well as a recently announced Fanatec wheel for PS5 but what’s the general consensus at the moment?

I plan on playing Gran Turismo, WRC/Dirt Rally and F1

23 : Anonymous2021/11/26 13:58 ID: hm5kvs7

They just announced a new GT wheel. Looks pretty awesome.

24 : Anonymous2021/11/26 19:53 ID: hm6ugtr

I use a Logitech, but am planning on upgrading to the new Fanatec. I play all those games too, but my favourite is assetto corsa competizione, highly recommended.

25 : Anonymous2021/11/26 03:22 ID: hm42wry

I want a better TV for the PS5 and movies. I'd like to spend less that 800 CAD - what do ya think? I'm on a 1080 Sharp Aquos right now, I need a max size of 55" but 50" would work as well. Current TV is 46? Without bezels

26 : Anonymous2021/11/25 16:03 ID: hm1og1g

If OLED is not an option, what’s the best LED TV to get for ps5?

27 : Anonymous2021/11/25 16:13 ID: hm1pty7

X90J

28 : Anonymous2021/11/26 03:48 ID: hm45ths

Ended up pulling the trigger on an x900h as it was a little cheaper but seemed almost identical. I bought a Hisense u8g and am having tons of issues with the sync between the eArc channel and video. After research it’s just sort of a bad tv.

29 : Anonymous2021/11/26 01:04 ID: hm3n8z4

I am loving my qn90a rtings.com has it as the best led for ps5

30 : Anonymous2021/11/25 17:15 ID: hm1yirt

I got this one picture fantastic and as 2x 2.1 HDMI ports.

31 : Anonymous2021/11/26 01:51 ID: hm3snkn

Samsung QN90

32 : Anonymous2021/11/25 22:31 ID: hm35d5m

QLED

33 : Anonymous2021/11/25 16:51 ID: hm1v2c2

Really? I have the CX. I’ve always thought LG TVs have good sound quality. Though make sure it’s not set to ‘Clear Voice’ for gaming.

34 : Anonymous2021/11/25 21:15 ID: hm2vr0u

My CX sounds great too.

35 : Anonymous2021/11/26 18:58 ID: hm6nejy

The sound balance seems off or something. There was a song at the end of Kena that felt painful to my ears. I also listened to some game soundtracks on my PC with decent headphones and I feel like some of the songs sound entirely different. There are extra layers that I just can’t hear on the tv speakers. Some sounds are drowned out.

36 : Anonymous2021/11/26 23:35 ID: hm7mo4x

I have a c1 and cx. The cx seems very quiet for dialog like in movies and tv shows. I was playing GOW on my C1 in my basement and my gf could hear it all the way upstairs. The c1 speakers sound a bit louder, not sure if they are improved or not.

37 : Anonymous2021/11/25 16:57 ID: hm1vwm4

I just got the vizio m series m512a-h6, 5.1 with atmos, wireless subwoofer and satellite speakers. Pretty decent system for the price, check it out on rtings.com

38 : Anonymous2021/11/25 23:11 ID: hm3a7c9

I have this as well and it's excellent for its price. I did have a problem with the one I bought, it got stuck in a firmware boot/install loop. However Vizio were quick to send a replacement after a short troubleshooting with their support. The new one worked great so far. It's has great bass to it, and surround works very well with atmos.

39 : Anonymous2021/11/26 16:23 ID: hm62itg

With an LG, just make sure any soundbar you buy has HDMI passthrough — LG are notorious for audio delay over ARC, so you need a soundbar you can connect the console to directly.

40 : Anonymous2021/11/26 16:38 ID: hm64j1p

So I don’t want eARC and wouldn’t be able to have it hooked up to my TV and ps5 at the same time?

41 : Anonymous2021/11/26 01:54 ID: hm3t040

The Sonos Arc is fantastic but not cheap. I have the Arc + subwoofer and it’s like a cocoon of noise

42 : Anonymous2021/11/26 02:01 ID: hm3tpjj

Apparently the Sonos Arc is one of the bars that doesn’t work with the LG CX because of eARC and Atmos issues.

43 : Anonymous2021/11/25 16:35 ID: hm1suii

I have a 55" Vizio OLED (finally works with recent firmware) and Elevate soundbar for home theater and PS5 and a 49" Samsung G9 curved monitor for PC. I use a Drop/ Sennheiser PC38x headset for both. Pretty happy with everything at the moment. I'm waiting on the next generation of CPUs and GPUs to rebuild my PC, when hopefully they aren't still being price gouged by scalpers and shortages.

44 : Anonymous2021/11/26 02:06 ID: hm3udzk

Do you prefer the curved monitor over a flat screen? I’m looking into getting a new monitor and I’m interested to know what people think about the curved ones

45 : Anonymous2021/11/26 02:22 ID: hm3w3nm

Still too early to say. I'm not used to it yet. There are some downsides such a shuffling my desktop icons constantly and not working as well with certain games distorting some things, but it does provide a pretty unique and breathtaking experience when everything comes together like Horizon: Zero Dawn in 32:9. The monitor I have also has a more aggressive curve than is typical. So far it's pretty good and a massive upgrade over my old Dell TN monitor.

46 : Anonymous2021/11/25 17:24 ID: hm1zt95

Looking to upgrade my 4 year old monitor. Are there any good 4k monitors out or should I wait?

47 : Anonymous2021/11/25 21:46 ID: hm2zn7b

Been using an LG 27” 4K 144hz, very happy with it. $800

48 : Anonymous2021/11/26 12:08 ID: hm5asqt
Any good 4k monitors on sale today? I just got my PS5 yesterday.
49 : Anonymous2021/11/26 23:38 ID: hm7n35z

What’s your choice for a wireless headset? I’d much prefer something I can get from Amazon as I’m getting quite a bit in Amazon gift cards for my birthday and Christmas.

50 : Anonymous2021/11/25 13:44 ID: hm17bqt

I was disappointed by the Pulse. My Hyper Xcloud from before is better. My studio headphones (AKG 240k) are also great but are very clear with little bass.

51 : Anonymous2021/11/26 19:43 ID: hm6t8ir

I just got a PS5. After playing for about 10 minutes, I still don't like Playstation Controllers.
Is there any good Asymmetrical Stick PS5 Controllers? [Xbox/Switch Pro Style]
I heard that you can remote play to your PC and use a Series Controller, but I would like to avoid lag if possible.
