- A 2006 newspaper we used for our Christmas ornaments features a desktop computer with a Sempron processor
-
12MB DDR2 memory
We've come even further than I remembered.
ID: hne1df5ID: hne2nq3Well if you want to run Crysis Reremastered, you’ll need to go for 16TB.
ID: hne38byThat ad has to be much older than 06. Compaq was already owned by HP in 2001 so i would think if it was newer than that it would have some HP branding.
-
my first custom build had a sempron, it was absolutely unforgiveably awful, the old prebuilt my family shared was probably better but the sempron couldn't run XP at all it just chugged and I could never really figure out what was wrong with it
ID: hndwqmzOdd. It's an Athlon with smaller cache. Never had issues with it.
ID: hndz9liI ended up upgrading it about 18 months later to an Intel qx6800 that I got second hand and it was great. I do kind of think now that my motherboard was terrible for the sempron, was literally the cheapest board you could buy at the time so if I were to blame anything it would be that
-
I owned one of them, I think I blessed it with my first Gentoo install.
-
Probably worth like $100 now lol
-
Those flat screens were amazing!
-
Does that have celery video chips too? Freaking running grfx on veggies.
-
That’s a pretty good deal.
-
I sincerely hope things get better for you. Hang in there!

Give it a couple years and people will debate whether you should have 8 TB of memory or 16 TB of memory
