frankly i am not a fan of racing games but somehow they kept me hooked the entire 30 minutes of state of play.

I've never played a Gran Turismo game before because I prefer arcade racers, but that was a pretty convincing State of Play. At the very least it's technically impressive.

Holy fuck this is everything I've ever wanted, I've probably spent more than 2000 hours combined on GT1, GT2 and GT4, and this looks like a throwback to those good old days of grinding money on Sunday Cups with a shitty Mazda Demio and doing licenses to buy better cars and go to actual fast races, I LOVE IT.

This is going to be the best GT game ever. Top notch graphics, the sound of the cars are just beautiful, the weather system is really nice, the tuning possibilities are nuts and the photo mode is amazing. The photos look so real. Can’t wait.

The amount of people crying in this thread about trivial things is shocking.
What do you want? Them to demo it on a PC to give a false image of what it’s like? This is early days of the PS5 and some of the stuff they’re doing here is amazing, and it’s going to get better via updates and the inevitable PS5 Pro. Look at games at the start of the PS4 and then at the end of its life cycle.
If you can’t wait for that then build a PC.

Honestly i'm excited to see this game being played in psvr 2. The new controllers and headset are going to make playing gt7 insane to play.

That was juicy, I haven't properly played a GT game since GT2 and it brings much nostalgia they have kept similar menu sounds and such it brings back a lot of memories grinding races in my teens. Really looking forward to this!
