Sup everyone, so can we not do PS5 to PS4 cross gen co-op? Me having ps5 a friend has the ps4. We were never able to get the game going, we got out of the tutorial into open world section and tried like 20 times. Any luck with you? Or is this not a function? I play far cry 6 with a friend who owns a ps4 and it works fine. Google search said I must install the ps4 version do play with ps4 users but I'm not doing that. Any work arounds?

ID: hvvggmjYou can't. PS5 players simply can't play with PS4 players, even if they both play the ps4 version of the game

The flickering and non responsive survivor sense are immersion breaking, it’s a great game, but I do wish they had fixed such obvious bugs prior to release (well the flickering at least).

ID: hvufds8It fixed most problems, as people actually playing the game would know. I had 2 very minor bugs in 11 hours of play. Consistent 60 fps. Fun game.
ID: hvukb5dOn my PS5 the flickering bug rears it head once every few minutes - along with the survivor sense randomly stopping. I’m only about 2 hours in though.
None of it so far is game-breaking, I haven’t come across anything like that yet, but it’s just an annoyance at this point.
Still playing it and enjoying it!

How bad are the issues with this game? I got a PS Store gift card for the holidays and was thinking of picking this game up. Enjoyed the first one and the DLC.
ID: hvvfb05Only bugs I experienced was one cutscene where a character was invisible and only could see his cigar in cutscene and some dead character standing up. Fixed when I reloaded the game.
ID: hvvhygkI'm enjoying it so far. Loved the first game as well. Haven't encountered many bugs yet and I've played it close for 10 hours over the weekend.

Yeah this was confirmed a while back by the developer.
“Cross-generation co-op play won't be supported at launch. This means that PS5 and PS4 players can not play co-op with each other.”
