Everything about this game looks amazing. I love how colourful it is as well. Fixes all my issues I had with the first one if the previews are to be believed.

ID: hwa9yv6Yeah, it was a great game. Everything felt earned and I actually loved finding the audio messages left behind from a past age, everything that was revealed added to the history and mythos. Seeing missing spots in my collection made me sad. Usually I don't care about those things are they're collection for the sake of it (like tomb raiders artifacts).

My hype for this game should be unreal right now but it has been so utterly eclipsed by my hype for Elden Ring that I can’t find the hype headspace. Which is crazy, because If there are two games I am stoked for this year it is Horizon and Elden Ring.

Looking forward to playing, although I’m not as excited as everyone else. The first one didn’t quite hook me the way it did most people, it’s an enjoyable game overall but I think the storytelling/writing needed a lot of work. Hoping this new one improves in that regard

ID: hw9m3v3I enjoyed the story as well, especially the dlc ending. I won't spoil it for anyone who is working through the game but it was surprisingly touching to me.
ID: hw9gqmwI really like the lore too but side quest conversations and even a lot of moments in the main story just felt super generic overall to me. Gameplay is great but the open world design from the first game could definitely use an update, I hope it’s not just climbing tallnecks to reveal everything around you, I like games that make the exploring feel more natural
ID: hw9vbd4If you look up information on the sequel they seem to have hyper focused on every criticism of the first game and drastically improved those areas.
In fact the IGN preview, take it for what it's worth, they said the jump in quality was similar to AC1 to assassins ceed 2.

Horizon was one of my favorite pa4 titles. It kinda sucks for them to be releasing so close to elden ring. 100x the hype for elden ring. Though I’m sorry forbidden west is gonna be great.

Agreed. I couldn't care less about a "mechanic" spoiler. It just makes me more excited to try it out.
