I have never gotten any of these style board games, are they really worth it? I see a lot of items on 3d printing sites for models, scenery, etc to print and use in them. I am guessing it is like the D&D games (which I never played...sad geek/nerd I am)....??
ID: hz1y8nyIn my experience, board games based on existing video game/movie franchises are at best, just okay. They shoehorn the franchise into a game concept in order to make it sell better. ("Dune" being an exception. Great game)
Those 3d printing sites are usually for people who are REALLY invested into things like D&D and Warhammer. It's really easy to get caught up in it and start spending hundreds, or even thousands of dollars. Definitely not where you want to start if you want to try out heavier board games. I would suggest games like Betrayal at the House on the Hill, Scythe, Catan, etc.

As a big fan of both board games and video games I should warn others to read reviews before buying the board game. It's not well liked by a bit of reviewers. Just remember to watch some reviews before impulse buying it.

Played this one, pretty fun honestly.
Cooperative game but you're trying to get more points on the 'hunt' to beat your friends.

I fucking hate those types of security tags. They destroy almost every box they're used on because the stupid employees ratchet them to their tightest setting.

There’s also an ac Valhalla Orlog board game. It has literally every item from the game included. While in-game, it may be annoying to some versus the AI, but I’m sure it would be a blast with you friends
