I just want to specify that Square-Enix Montreal is not the same as Eidos Montreal. SE Montreal makes mobile games like Hitman go, Tomb Raider go etc.
Don't expect a new AAA Deus Ex from them.

And I'm excited to see what Tomb Raider will have for it's 25th Anniversary. I hope it's a sequel to Shadow but it'd make sense to see a remake of one of the older games.
ID: gqlyz3xLiS twitter says new story, new characters, new power so it'll be LiS3 and not a spin-off title, although there have been a fair amount of rumours of another Max & Chloe spin-off.
I would expect that Tomb Raider will be a 25th anniversary pack of the reboot trilogy that's been making the rounds. Will probably be on the new consoles but I'd doubt there's any sort of remaster and probably just a settings buff due to the PS5/XseX's increased power. I would guess they tease game 4 of the reboot series with a late 2022/early 2023 release schedule.
ID: gqm2pv0I’ve seen a lot of rumors recently about how this new game is supposed to be an expansion on the first game. Cant see how that would work considering the ending though. I think it’s wishful thinking

Life is Strange 2 is one of my favorite pieces of video game storytelling of all time. If LiS3 can somehow one-up itself, I’ll be beside myself.
ID: gqndi1iI prefer more settings like LIS1. It wasn't perfect but I enjoyed the school setting. LIS2 was full on depression mode and it dampened my enjoyment. Plus it didn't have cool gameplay mechanics like LIS1's time control. I think the minimal amount of supernatural gameplay hurt LIS2.

Really hyped for more Life is Strange. I know the 2nd isn't loved nearly as much as the 1st (and rightly so) but I still enjoy the hell out of them regardless.

ID: gqllxneOverall, it's an okay game; I'd give it a 5/10. The main two problems I can see are that its story is incredibly disjointed and that it takes a much-too-overt stance on modern racial issues in the US. The story takes place over years, and that clashes horribly with the more simple, isolated story style LiS excels at. The second problem, though... Hoo boy. LiS2 likes to strike you repeatedly and bluntly over the head with the statement that rural Americans are almost universally racist. It's like the player is a baby seal surrounded on all sides by Canadians on 15 November--it just never stops.

Man, Shadow of the Tomb Raider really killed any interest I had for the series which is a shame because I really liked TR and Rise.
