I've only beat the phalanx, but holy shit what a feeling of relief! Can't wait to die again.

ID: gu32s1pThe respawns are a lot better in their later games, with more checkpoints and shortcuts. Demon’s souls really is a pain in that regard compared to the rest.

ID: gu3k4ujA lot of people say it’s the easiest in the sense that most, if not all bosses have an easy exploit or “cheese” that was left unchanged in Demon’s Souls Remake and since it’s level based you could play/repeat any of the 4 worlds-stages in any order which isn’t the case in subsequent entries.
I felt a similar way after picking up the game too...but trust me just stick with it and the jump from Demons Souls to Dark Souls 1 will be far easier (despite it technically being considered a more challenging game) once you get the hang of things & they also got rid of frustrating mechanics like World Tendency & Item Weight too.
(This from someone who started fresh with Demon’s Souls Remake then played Dark Souls 1 followed by DS3 and currently playing DS2)
ID: gu3poqqUnless you have a friend who has the platinum and has played it 8 times. Kinda cheating but he was my guide on the first level till we could do multiplayer. Then he joined and i pretty much just followed him and got souls for free. With a lil help on where to go, i find it extremely fun.
ID: gu3anq6Demon's Souls isn't a next gen game, though. It's only "next gen" in the sense that it's exclusive to a next gen console. Other than that, there's nothing "next gen" about it.

The real question is. Will this game get struck by the delay hammer? I mean deathloop was only a month and a half out before they told us. This is still 2 months away! Nothing is safe! Im keeping my hype levels VERY low.

ID: gu2rrtcInsomniac waited a while to drop the release date, and even then it was later than most expected. It was originally expected in the launch window, so it coming out in June is a few months later than that. I doubt it gets delayed but we'll see

I just wish they showed the 60 fps mode at least once though...
