I finished it, took me 18ish minutes and I was pretty thorough aside from the scary chase parts where I always just panic and run looking for the way out. Seems like some really fucking good resident evil. And the shopkeeper is awesome

ID: gvsg5tuI went back and tried to do it as fast as I could and did it in 3:45 lol. I made some mistakes and didn't skip all the cutscenes. I saw someone did it in less than 2:30.

ID: gvrymlaIt's short. My first play through I actually felt I was going slow and finished in 15 min. Played through a second time in the left over time I had and finished in 6 min.
From a pure speed running perspective, I could probably do it in about 3 min... maybe 4

God, I hate the whole timed demo thing Capcom has been doing. I feel so rushed for fear of running out of time before the end. IMO it lessens the experience.
Why don't they just make it so you can only play through it once?

ID: gvrjg2pThe demo time frame is so weird. Why would they put the demo up on a Sunday evening, at the exact time when people usually go to sleep since they have to work the day after? You are pretty much getting "forced" to play it at that day, else you are gonna miss out.

ID: gvrq51nIf you want to know you had to examine it in the key items menu which lets you remove the jewel from the ring and that is used as a door key that allows you to progress.

I’ve skipped all the demos so far and I’ll be skipping this. I am super excited for RE8, but don’t want to be spoiled by the demos.
ID: gvriuiwIm in your same boat. Basically its a mini tour of a selected area. I skipped all cutscenes and finished the last demo in 11 minutes. I was just curious on what the game looked like. And im definitely impressed with PS5. Now i wanna see SX.

Played it. Pretty much what you expect. Controls feel stiff to me though.
ID: gvsfbimTurn camera acceleration off and put sensitivity to max. Still not great, but it’s better than 7 at least.

The haptic implementation was super disappointing. It’s almost like they didn’t do anything for the Dualsense.

The castle section looks gorgeous, but I really don't like the combat mechanics. The combat in RE7 wasn't the best, but they made it worse. It's a shame, because the history is very interesting.

I got stuck in one spot with the one lady and couldn’t figure out how to either get out or kill her. Then my 30 minutes ran out.

Making you panic in your play is a good sign of a horror game in my eyes, lol. I’m looking forward to getting to play the demo
