To be honest I'd rather they kick out GRRM from this game, that dude will be the reason the game get delayed and end up with half story while blaming fromsoftware.

This is good news tbh, I'd rather wait 3 more years than have it half-assed.
Duke Nukem Forever was in development for 15 years and was trash. Delays have no direct correlation with quality.

To be fair to the devs, everything I've read indicates they wanted more delays, but management wanted that sweet holiday season money.
They probably played the Dark Souls remake and were like “shit, we gotta step it up”.
*Demon Souls remake. And I highly doubt Elden Ring will look as good as Demon Souls, Demon Souls ha financial backing from Sony, meaning it could have a high budget, but I don’t think FromSoft has that kind of money.
Take all the time you need just make it worth it like normal.

I hear they hired George R. R. Martin to write the excuses for the game's delay. He's almost done writing the excuses, should be ready by the end of the year. Which year though, that is the question.
