Display color enhancement for Radeon VII

Why is this feature only for RX5000 and 6000 cards? I understand the fact that they're making the DLSS rival only for the latest cards, but I see no reason as to why they couldn't have made this feature available for the Radeon VII

What do you want from "Display color enhancement "?

if you just want to jack up the colours or something most displays will let you do that.

SweatFX is also always an option to.

Yeah I know I can get a similar effect by messing with my display settings, but I would use it for games like warzone that have particularly bad lighting and visibility, i like that it turns off when you turn the game off instead of having to go into OSD and go back to the previous settings

IDK is there no in game settings for brightness etc.

Iv never touched any kind of "image enhancer" so it's not something I know a lot about.

it seems that AMD abandoned it for good as Radeon VII and as RX VEGA's, I hope I'm wrong.

I don't know why they left discrete Vega without this feature. I have a laptop with a 4800H, which has a Vega 7 iGPU, and it does have Display color enhancement available. Maybe they will add it down the road.

Vega 7 iGPU

Now its making even less sense to me, seeing how the Vega 7 iGPU is GCN 5.0 and RVII is GCN 5.1..

The feature looks awful anyway. Its more like a dehancement.

It indeed does look awful. Calibrating the display is a better choice, or get a better one, use Reshade but damn, that setting makes everything look like rainbow.

OP you can create custom color profiles on a per game basis. Not sure if this is what you want.
