- Terminator: Resistance | PS5 vs PS4 | Graphics Comparison & FPS
It’s not a giant upgrade but them loading times 3s on PS5 where it’s 1min+ on PS4 are amazing
Sometimes I forget to press x to continue cause it loads so fastID: gyw5oos
Til. Nice. Thanks kind stranger.
That load time tho. I don't play the game but that must be a huge relief to those that do.
Is this game any good ?ID: gyxmq2r
It's average but worth a purchase on sale.
The gameplay can best be described as "fallout lite". There's a somewhat decent story, the graphics are good, the guns, work. It's got some stealth mechanics, role playing and crafting elements as well, but a bit simplified.
The presentation is actually pretty good. You can tell the people who worked on it cared about the source material and did their best to make a good game; there's also a few set piece fights that are memorable.
It doesn't overstay its welcome and you could probably complete the game and get the platinum trophy in 15 or 20 hours. I would say if it's on sale for $20, it's definitely worth a buy, especially if you're a fan of the first two movies.ID: gyzcfhr
Thanks for the insight. I’m not a huge fan but always thought the series had great game potential. Usually steer away from “movie” games for obvious reasons. Will check it out on YT.ID: gyygi44
If you’re a Terminator fan it is fantastic. Nails the atmosphere, the music, and is the best Terminator 3 I think well get. It’s not the best gameplay or graphics but it is certainly worth a play through.ID: gyzzo0a
Damn no love for Salvation? I really liked that movie a lot and the lore and the overlall aesthetic look of the film. It wasn't anywhere near as bad as Genisys, rise of the machines or dark fate, which did have cool moments.ID: gyxhgiu
I have been throught it last year by my old laptop SB2 with 1060, I think the performance is already better than PS4PRO.....
Anyway, does anybody think if the PS5 version does something new speical compared to the PC version, eg. full adaption for the Dualsense controller with adaptive vibration, etc?
If yes I prefer playing again on PS5, but if it is only the graphic upgrade, ok, my time is priceless....
corporate wants you to find the difference....
Load times are the only plus. The graphic differences are only noticeable to pixel pushers.ID: gyxxwge
60FPS? Better lighting? Better reflections? Better textures?ID: gyxyvr5
PS4 was also 60ID: gyyl2ap
I noticed the better textures and bump mapping when I have the 2 side by side, and even then it's not a wide gulf between the 2, just the PS5 is better by a small margin.ID: gyx9xnr
Never understood this nonsense especially when they have to zoom in 400% to show differences
Who plays a game with their nose pressed against the screenID: gyxiyqc
It's not about playing your nose pressed against the screen, it's about how trained your eye is at spotting this stuff. The less you know about graphics, the more similar two different settings will look.
Then on top of that there's also the fact that even if you don't necessarily knowingly notice a piece of detail, you might still "feel" like it looks better.
Anyway, what do you think they SHOULD do then? Not put any improvements in the PS5 version because they're too small for some people to notice? Or what?ID: gyxbnsd
They do that due to YouTube compression, you don't need to zoom irl to see the artifacts.ID: gyybzza
It’s for the morons who watch video analyses on their 5-inch cell phone screens. The difference is obvious on a TV at normal viewing distance.
I Iove this game I just want a FOV slider on the PS5 version, it feels like tunnel vision.
Based on the thumbnail....no difference.ID: gyxbzuu
