“Why didn’t the cure work?”

We wanted to make a sequel.

Thing is they could of just made a sequel set at the same time / before / in a different area to one

This sounds more like “because we want to keep milking the franchise for years to come”.

Not everything needs a sequel, even if the original game is great. They should of just left the cure be a cure

Have

They should have taken The Following Ending and made it like prototype just fight the Transformed Main character from the 1st game. Would be ez.

bottom line... basically

all choices and their consequences stay with the host—they don’t affect your solo campaign, but you get to keep all the player progress you’ve made and all the loot you’ve found."

So if I start the game from the beginning with a friend as the host, where does that leave my save file at the end of the play session? Possibly a situation where I'll be level 10 with a bunch of loot, but technically not having any game progress on my save file?

I HATE when games do this. Like the Far Cry series not allowing the invited player to get trophies or make progress from where they left off co-op in a solo lobby. I know it’s to prevent people from joining a game super late in the story and getting all the unlocks, but there has to be some other way to fix that.

Tried to play Far Cry 5 with my wife and had to give up as it won't let you progress skills/weapons wise without going back and forth between our two saves replaying the story. Fucking stupid.

That leaves it in a sticky situation. I feel like you should be able to opt in or out of progressing your story In coop

Sounds like it. At least it is clear. I remember a bunch of weird shit happening to my story progress when I joined randoms in Dying Light 1.

Sounds about right. It's going to sound like a negative to some, but in Dying Light the level scaling was extremely slow and it took quite a while to fill in all the skill trees, so I don't really mind. Plus all the items break down relatively quickly too.

It would be nice if they patch the first to run better on ps5

This might be the only game I’ll pre Order if I can get time of work
