I haven't found Steam sales very enticing for years now unless you're just picking up suuuuper old games with little demand. Sekiro is still $30. HZD $30. RDR2 $40. Doom $20. Mass Effect LE $50(barely even a sale). Days Gone isn't even discounted.
These are price points they've all hit before =/, and constantly hit on 3rd party retailers if not cheaper (legitimate ones like GMG, check isthereanydeal.com historical prices on games for proof). Very disappointing.

I ironically got the trilogy for 5 Bucks on steam. Still havent found the energy to Go through them though, Just picked the find ciri Quest and have not opened the game again in like 2 weeks

I don’t mind collecting games in my library. This allows me to play anything anytime. Not worry about rushing to finish something. Besides, I badly need a new gpu, so buying the games on sale, will let me have something to look forward to.

I bought Witcher 3 a few years ago when it was on sale. Still haven't played it. Along with over 50 other games I bought to play "later."

I know Reddit is a lot of nostalgia bait but today has been absurd

I went through it and found nothing all that interesting, decided to go back to bl3 which had an update today and now apparently only runs at 50fps instead of the usual 90
So i'll be looking to upgrade my pc, that's a better way to spend money sonce it's mostly 10yo parts. I looked for a new mobo,cpu and ram (since i'm still on ddr3 it needs replacing too) and this runs me roughly 1k... that's a bit steep for now, so that'll have to wait a while longer.
I kinda want cyberpunk, but my pc can't run it anyway and i don't know of they'll actually fix it.

Eh, the last couple years the summer sale had nothing of interest for me. Sure some little things here and there, this year I got a DLC for a game I own, and a small TD game. But nothing big, I already own what I want reasonably priced, and the rest is still too expensive, or in early access (which I don't play)
