Right… In my country the water cooled RX 6900XT by Asus is going for over 3000 USD. It was over 4000 so, you could say it’s getting cheaper…
ID: h60hcbjID: h60hq5oNice my friend. Although there’s no Newegg shuffle in my country, just normal Newegg.
ID: h61fzmrI know its amd sub but its pretty easy to get 3070ti and 3080ti 10% above MSRP
For example 80ti MSRP price here is 117000 RUB and I you could buy new one for 125000 RUB
Regular 3070 and 80 are nowhere to be seen and will probably get replaced by asS version Q1 22

Good to see increasing price normalisation.
If this trend continues, we should be back to MSRP soon.
ID: h60pfaxDon't do that. Don't give me hope.
ID: h60tg1wProbably this Autumn if the Crypto Boom/Bust pattern set in 2016-2017 continues to be followed in 2021.
Just like in 2017, we see Crypto mining becoming less profitable and mining has ended in China while there is serious talk of regulating crypto in the USA and Europe. However, there will be an unsuccessful scramble for AltCoins and the price of Bitcoin/ETH is still being manipulated with large swings happening.
The problem is that the retailers have overpaid for AIB cards - and although they have made a killing - they don't want to drop their prices. As soon as the miners start to sell their mining cards cheap, then the AIBs will have to adjust their pricing downward, and we will see MSRP and even bundles with the cards just to move the stock.
Of course, the unforeseen may always happen, but it looks like there are good times ahead for gamers if we are patient a bit longer.
ID: h61biysoh man idk lets hope so. I dont think miners are buying new cards anymore but they are still making good profits. Even losing 15 percent more next month isnt going to stop them. It need to drop to like 1k eth still a long way to go.
ID: h5zx91zYep, I just got a 3060Ti at MSRP to replace my 6800XT finally. Starting to see things pop up more and more.
ID: h5zybhyWhy would you downgrade?
ID: h626epoThis must be a troll comment.

Still as expensive as ever here, in northern Europe. Scalpers and retailers sell for about the same price, but usually scalpers have them in stock vs retailers, although the most expensive skus are available at retail here.
There is still long way before prices normalises if ever, I think theses 2K€ + for top tier gpus will be the new norm and entry will be 400€+.

Not really

Bought an RX 570 4gb off a kind redditor for 125. A few months ago that wouldn't have been possible

SHUTUP ABOUT IT. Let the market drop more before letting people know things are getting better. There are still many of us that are poor as shit but actually need a GPU for work... and need the prices to drop a lot more. Let the market correct itself in silence.
FYI this was meant in jest, mostly..
ID: h600rilMost of the news about lowering prices are on the newest graphics cards. If you're "poor as shit", but still need a graphics card for work, just get a older gen like the 2060/2070 or even the 1060/1070.
ID: h601bsy..... not from my searching. At least everytime I've looked thus far.
EDIT: Eh doesn't matter anyway. Medical bills and tax time kinda fucked me.

Any help?
Dude, pay. OK?

The 3080Ti FE was in stock for ages at MSRP on Scan UK this morning. Not sure why it's not being grabbed as quickly as the 3080 drops do. I wonder if the scalpers / miners are less interested in it due to the crypto nerf.
ID: h61bpnmits overpriced too.
ID: h61gituSure but it was at it's MSRP which is way better than most cards.

I have this exact card; I was able to get it on the Newegg shuffle for $1,599 USD.
