Seems like a brand new 6600xt is around 450e which is an insane price but considering an used 2060 (regular not even super) goes for basically the same amount its not that bad. Is it a bad purchase in this context?
An alternative would be a Xbox series s which is 300e -
Depends on what your expectations are.
I am considering it as a replacement for RX570 4GB card that started dying sometime ago. For 450 euros it is indeed a tough buy, but there's nothing on new/used market that beats it.

4-500€ for 1080p 60hz in 2021 is terrible value for money and it’s caused by mining and extend. But consoles are worst of all since they are full locked.

I don't think so, cheapest 6600XT in Greece's biggest e-shop is 730 EUR abt 880 USD.
450 EUR is just fine, I would grab 2-3 cards if I were you b4 they reach Greek prices which will be soon as this is yet another Paper Launch.

Here in the UK there are 3060 TI that can compete 'value wise'. Ofcourse those 3060Ti are going for £550+ which is silly too...
The QHD/4K performance is hugely dissapointing. So yeah its in an odd position but you absolutely can do worse.
It is sad the PC low end/mid dGPU aspect is finished for now.

Here in Finland a new 2060 (vanilla, not Super) goes for 530 euros. I imagine things are like this everywhere else in Europe. When I saw the 6600XT for 419, I didn't think twice.
I would say, if you have a chance, get a 6600XT, for as cheap as you can, while you still can. I don't expect supplies to keep up with demand, and prices will eventually rise.
That said, a Xbox Series S is not a bad idea either. In some stores you can get one in installments with no interest and pay as little as 9 euros or so a month.
