I can't find the ps5 upgrade for $30. All I see is the ps4 only upgrade.

ID: h9ety7pI bought GoT on release for PS4. Saw Director's Cut is releasing, so paid $20 for the upgrade to Director's Cut (on PS4). Now I need to pay for the PS5 upgrade on the 20th I guess?
I feel like this could've easily been rolled out better.

I'm just waiting for the $30 upgrade to directly upgrade from the base ps4 game to ps5 director's cut.

ID: h9ey0bqThe way the Sony store handled the upgrades is ridiculous. For now you can buy the expansion only for ps4. Tomorrow the PS5 upgrade should unlock for purchase. I'm uncertain as to why you can't just upgrade to the PS5 version directly.

Apologies if this has been covered, but do we know how the DLC works? If you've beaten the game, can you just go to the new island, and if you want to start a new play through, do you have to get to a certain point before DLC is available?

Just to confirm - if I already own the regular game on PS5 I wait for launch to buy the directors cut upgrade for $29.99?
Asking because I see preorders for full directors cut + game AND the PS4 upgrade, only no preorder available for PS5 upgrade.

Kojima is right, the "director's cut" name just doesn't make sense. It actually sounds dumb in the context. They should've used "Definitive Edition" or something

Do we know yet if the ps5 version will have a solid 60 or not? I will always prefer 60fps over resolution
ID: h9ffqlzThe PS4 version currently runs at 60fps on PS5, I’d expect the native PS5 upgrade will too, even with higher res textures etc.

Really sad that Sony's exclusives are costing R$350 in Brazil (1/3 of the minimum monthly wage).
It's really a giant commitment to buy a recently released Sony game here. I'll be waiting a year or two to enjoy it.

Does the game look better at all on PS5 ie Textures, Lighting, etc or is it only taking the resolution from 1800p to 2160p?
ID: h9g22ttI think the embargo lifts tomorrow, whatever the timezone. You will probably find info regarding this aspect when reviews (technical ones like the ones from Digital Foundry) start releasing.
