ID: hkftwvlApparently the reason textures are so fucking up is because they ran the textures through an AI to upscale them. There was zero human input for the definitive edition.
Problem is, the AI is misreading signs and letters and stuff like 'air guitar 199$" is now "ar guitar 199S"
They didn't even use designers.

Take Two sued the team behind RE3, GTA;SA port and VC port for vita/switch etc to release this shit
This is a jokeID: hkej9w5tbh its a shame because most of those mods and the teams behind them were so passionate about what they were and they made the already good game into something
even more incredible.. only to have it all taken down because rockstar knew damn well that no one would really like the shitty remaster once it came out so they simply pulled the "cant have competition if there is none" card and just killed most if not all of the mods and their respective communities only to give us this half assed "remaster"ID: hkf90ngA half-assed remaster made by a mobile developer no less.
ID: hkevn96They sued the modders and removed the originals from sale so people HAVE to buy the definitive edition. They saw what the modders were doing and wanted to capitalize on it. Those two actions is what pisses me off about this.

Saddest thing of all it's that people are gonna forget this so quickly and salivate when GTA 6 gets announced.

I gotta say, I think the reason Rockstar doesn't make GTA games anymore is because they forgot how.
ID: hkfemo0Well apparently after RDR2 wrapped a lot of the older talent left, so "they forgot" isn't too far off the marl from what I hear. That being said, these remasters weren't done by R*, they were done by another developer, but that doesn't change the fact R* fucking OK'd this.
