Only mobile game that I've ever installed that actually looks like it's advertisements is Genshin Impact.

Unfortunately it's also a Gacha game filled with micro transactions. But damn, does that Gacha money buy some high end graphic designers...

They did this during the Game Awards with the mobile Rocket League game. The cut from the cinematic trailer to the gameplay made me laugh out loud.

I'm OK with cinematic trailers to propose a concept, but also think we need laws requiring a fatass disclaimer if the footage doesn't represent the gameplay. At the very least, it'd help some people to not feel mislead.

Kairosoft games. Not the new, free ones, but the old 5$ games. You have a full, 20+h simulation game for cheap, without any of the mobile game annoyances. It could be on PC and still be reasonable. If I were to recommend one, Grand Prix Story is my favorite.

I'm sad they are now doing loot box, MTX-filled f2p trash sequels to those games nowadays.

Should look up Punishing Grey Raven, there is an exception to every rule, it's slightly downscaled platinum combat on the mobile platform with heavy nier inspiration and it's great.
