Has anyone played FarCry 6 at all? It seems like they tried to hype it up and then it was just silently released to not much public acclaim

I thought 4 was better than 3 in every way.
Better story(still not great) better gameplay and mechanics .
Primal was ok but using clubs and stuff not as fun. Story still not great.
Didn't play 5 or expansion.
6 I have not seen much at all to be honest.
Personally I would have loved a full sized game like blood dragon. Campy 80s fun , I also find it much easier to believe than some American college bros taking out hordes or pirates and mercenaries or an entire dictators army.
I think next far cry should make you like a special ops guy in the military and the country is taken over by a coup, and you flee.
Later on some people cia, mi6 or even just some billionaires want to oust the new regime and they fly you in with your guys and stuff to setup a reference and you take it back.
It would explain why peoole would follow you and why you are a bad ass that can kill so well

I've played, haven't tried any other far crys, to me its a good game, but I really don't have any context for if the others are better

farcry 6 sucked tbh, like yeah it's a nice big map but honestly that's about the only interesting thing to it

I played it for about an hour and just couldn't get into it. It immediately felt and looked exactly like the last few I've played. Set it down and didn't pick it up again.

That is why sold me on far cry 3 THAT I was Skyrim with guns and was not disappointed

I just started playing it. It's an OK game but much more similar to New Dawn than Far Cry 4 or 5. I don't think I would pay full price for it to be honest. Feels like the developers dumbed everything down, so now you can't craft, you can't unlock skills, you can't loot (much).

5 hits a lot harder when you live where it's based and realize how little effort it took to spin. Like, seriously. Between YWAM basically making slaves to the organization/church and people treating Levi Lusko as God himself rather than a preacher over at Fresh Life.
All it takes it the wrong spark and that shit is a more reality than fiction.

FarCry 3 was the last good one. FarCry 4 and everyting after it was complete garbage.

I played it, but got bored after some hours, i think i did maybe half if the story mission.

5 started off well, but I hate the 'getting captured' cliche in gaming, and you can imagine how I felt after the TENTH TIME. The ending is so shite, that when people said 6 had a worse ending I just didn't even bother, even when I could've got it on Epic for like 9 dollars

Man I haven't liked a Farcry since 2. All these newer ones just feel so cheap. The guns feel cheap. Farcry 5 from what little I played had freaking death animations. Why are we adding death animations to every other kill? Quit it.

There was moral ambiguity, the villain had character, it felt super suspenseful

I gave Primal a chance, then realized that it had the exact same map as 3, just reskinned to the era. Lost all interest and haven't touched the series since.

I just started FarCry 6 with my best friend and we both love it! Its quality. The story is actually so good. We're playing co-op and the story was developed well in my opinion. They really fill it with emotions and get you hooked. I admittedly skip cut scenes sometimes but I haven't skipped a single one nor have I skipped any dialogue. So story wise 10/10. The missions are so far really nice and fun. The guns are nice as well. The story isnt boring and repetitive so far. I highly suggest anyone to try it! We got it on sale for $30 on ubisoft!

Far cry 6 is my favorite since 3. It’s not without its faults but it was a lot of fun and the story wasn’t half bad.

Farcry 3 is super over rated. People say its story is the best one but thats just cause they like how the villain acts (who barely has a backstory) and he dies half way through and you have to deal with his far far less interesting boss after that for the 2nd half of the game. Farcry 4's story was much better

I’m 25 or so hours into it and honestly i do not like it. The map is gigantic but the vehicles absolutely suck the driving is meh but it was never amazing in any far cry.
The jet ski / boat driving dynamics can only be described as someone that coded them has never been on a boat or a jet ski.
The followers / animals are terrible.
Entire bases are devoid of npcs until you have a mission to go there. I mostly turn the radio off because who wants to listen to blaring salsa music for 100 hours.
It’s very glitchy on Xbox one as entire missing fail to load in certain vehicles or npcs for some missions requiring you to start the mission over.
I can keep going but I’m getting aggravated typing this lol.

I thought far cry 6 was fun but I also played it on ps5 and was able to enjoy the haptoc feedback and adaptive triggers. It's more of the same tho.
