Still only demos available so the whole ship isn't free to explore yet, and only demo 3 works in VR. But it's still well worth checking out. I only use my headset for this and Flight Simulator.
Really can't wait for the full release when it's done!
ID: hrmtlukMy wife is a big Titanic nut and has been following this project for a very very long time. There's been a ton of behind-the-scenes drama with the team, fundraising, etc. The fact they even got an alpha out of the few decks they've done is a miracle in itself.

A long time ago (1990s) I played some mystery video game that was set on the Titanic. I remember it being totally awesome and looking exactly like this. I'm sure it looked like boiled ass.

I learned the entire layout by of the ship by playing this game to death.
There are so many different endings. My favourite is being so bad that Hitler wins WW2.

So in my lifetime we've gone from "hey we finally found the titanic" to "here's a movie about the titanic" to "here, explore this perfect virtual model of the titanic." I'm 37. This is wild.
ID: hrmovy732 here. I was just thinking the same thing. I remember reading/looking through books as a kid of the Titanic wreck with pictures taken from the Alvin submarine. It was so hauntingly beautiful and I looked at it all the time. Jumping forward to now, seeing this game footage is an incredible feat. I'm just in awe over it all honestly

Anyone else play that old Titanic game on PC? Maaaan I loved that game and never knew what the hell I was doing or anything. I just like being on the Titanic.
