Sheva (the character, not the partner AI) is probably my favorite thing about RE5.
I would be 100% down for an action RE spin-off (series?) in the style of RE5 and 6 with Sheva as the protagonist. No forced coop, please.

I say bring Sheva and Jill back. Chris has been in the last 3 games we need to see what happens to Jill after re5, plus Sheva is a cool character that I would love to see more of.

ID: htlr9pbthis is really my dream. i think their chemistry would be so good. and i think sheva’s involvement in the BSAA opens the narrative up to lots of different locales. if resi continues 8’s trend of being inspired by local folklore, that could be a very interesting set up.

ID: htjwvyuYeah I fixed it, but I bought it for the co op and the co op patch requires you to have 2 controllers (as far as I know) or download a third party app to emulate a controller for a keyboard. Either way it might be an easy fix but shouldnt be listed on steam if you cant even boot it without a fix

With all these Sheva posts, I feel like I should give it a try. Is it worth playing solo?
ID: htlrmmsif you can get a buddy, def give the game a shot. if you’re two player, you can also play as sheva immediately. otherwise you have to complete the game at least once before you can play her. i never played the game alone, so idk how good the ai is ( i’ve not heard great things tbh) but it’s usually cheap/on sale, so id say it’s worth a shot anyway!

Don't see any reason to bring her back since her story was finished, but maybe another large-scale outbreak could bring her back.

Sheva’s one of my favorites, definitely hope she gets brought back in some capacity one day, won’t hold my breath though.

Why tho? I can’t think of any character more 2-dimensional. The one snippet of back story she got was “muh big bad corporation killed my parents so that’s my motivation.” No clearer example of a mere sidekick in existence imo
