- What's a weird piece of RE lore we seem to have forgotten?

"Ada Wong" is an alias.
ID: hxsc6plID: hxslfkwNo fucking way. It… it can’t be…
ID: hxsoxw9What are you referencing? The other guy also did it

Rebecca Chambers thought it was appropriate to hang out and practice the piano in the Spencer Mansion while sitting on extensive first-hand knowledge of threats that Chris was likely to encounter.
ID: hxsm27dAnd that right there is why I believe that Jill and Barry were the ones exploring the mansion while Chris and Rebecca were sitting in the locked room. While they waited for rescue, Rebecca told Chris all about Wesker’s involvement, as well as her adventure in RE0. (Though she might not have mentioned that Billy lived and instead that she picked his dog tags off his half-eaten body.)

Claire’s favorite food is a cheese burger
ID: hxsyvpaMy mind can't handle this deep eldritch lore

Hunk spent an entire week in Raccoon City's sewer system before he escaped.
ID: hxt12dvThis always get me, how? I can understand a few hours, but a week?
ID: hxtdo1hHunk's a himbo
ID: hxu24elDelirious and badly wounded for the first three or so days, gets turned around and lost in the sewers whilst avoiding the hulking form of Birkin for the next few days and finds himself a place to regroup. Finally after a week has passed he’s able to pull himself together and on sheer adrenaline and grit he makes his escape. He eats rats and drinks the drippings from the ceilings all this time to sustain himself.
ID: hxtepuvMost logical is planning his escape route, far fetched but only way it could make sense, I mean dude survived impossible odds

The 5 T-103s that weren't the one dropped at the Raccoon City Police Department during The Raccoon City Incident were dispatched to destroy the US Force's Delta Force who'd infiltrated Umbrella's underground train system and mistakenly ended up at the Dead Factory believing it's where they were to meet up with, and extract, Birkin and where they set up the Sword of Paracelsus Rail Cannon to destroy any G-Mutants they might encounter, which Jill uses 2 days later to incapacitate Nemesis minutes before the city is bombed.
-
That zombies maintained a degree of human sentience before the full shift.
Itchy.... Tasty....
ID: hxtjmb6I'm... Sorry...

A vaccine exposes someone to the nucleic acid of a virus to build immunity. Jill was stabbed by Nemesis, then received the vaccine despite already being deeply infected.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s not how vaccines work…
ID: hxt6s8sRabies vaccine, though.
ID: hxt0bi7I guess it was more of a "counter agent" than a traditional vaccine

Didn’t Wesker still claim to having Steve’s body? Or am I misremembering?
ID: hxsys8vHe did! Manuela Hidalgo in the Darkside Chronicles is infected with a virus sample extracted from Steve.
-
Jill Valentine is an ex-Delta Force soldier at age 22.
ID: hxss5hcPretty sure she just trained with them
ID: hxsvuo5Jill doesn’t fuck around
ID: hxtfw6qRebecca is a college graduate and police special forces member at 18

Alex Wesker is the “better” Wesker because she technically succeeded in her plan.
ID: hxt6f41True, on the thought of immortality, her philosophy is kinda right. Physical bodies decay but her plan is to clone her mind and put it on a more youthful body and repeat the process. Thus making her "immortal". Honestly, RE should do something about that. Ig Rosemary Winters vs. Alex Wesker? Idk

Hive-host capture force. HCF
Wesker in code Veronica wears a vest with their logo on it and we get vague explanations on what they're about via files and supplementary materials. They also do get 1 small mention in a file at the very end of RE7 but I have no idea what they actually are up to.
-
That the reason Leon is late for his first day on the job in the original RE2 is due to a hang over because his girlfriend broke up with him.
ID: hxskwwvhuh, this one’s actually pretty interesting to me
ID: hxspsxtWait, is this the original lore because in the Remake it's specifically said that he was told not to come in and wait.
ID: hxsq7n9Yeah, this is from the original. The remake changed it though
ID: hxsq4tcI thought it was great and I'm still a little mad they changed it on the Remake

Wesker has a picture of Rebecca Chambers in a basketball outfit in his desk. I think everyone knows that one.
ID: hxsq1bkI think it's just a film and we are the one who developed it later? Still weird for it to be that specific picture though.
ID: hxsvshbTbh the fact that it’s a lone, undeveloped negative in his desk drawer is somehow creepier to me.
-
Chris dating the girl from tech department.
-
Barry dropped a F bomb in revelations.
-
That Alex Wesker lives on through a copied conscious inside Natalia. Bruh we have a Wesker running around why haven’t Capcom done anything with this?
-
Jill's French/Japanese background.
ID: hxsp6y6And his dad being an delinquent
-
Weskers implied crush on Rebecca.
-
"Terr" does not have to end with "orist".
-
G is the deadliest bioweapon in the series.
-
I thing that is more so a common fact rather than something obscure is Jill’s PTSD after the Spencer Mansion.I don’t see it getting discussed most of the time.In the manga for the OG RE3 they explored Jill’s nightmares while she was infected with the Nemesis parasite
-
That hunk had grey hair in RE2 so he's probably either retired or dead of old age.
-
People infected with a "dominate" strain of the Las Plagas parasite can directly control things as powerful as Lickers if they are infected with a "slave" variant of the Plagas parasite.
-
Tyrants were easily created by torturing teenagers and extracting an hormone from their exposed brains... While they were still alive..
RE Survivor may be clunky, but the diaries are horrifying
ID: hxt3by3I would love a modern take on Survivor. I actually really am intrigued by the lore they have set up, even though it's a short lived experience.

I think it’s hilarious how 2 makes it obvious it’s a fake name, but they just go with it from then on
