Finished it pretty soon after the game came out on Switch, really love handheld raid mode... Still run a few levels every now and then just for fun.

Still haven't finished the campaign though and I've owned the game ever since retail launch on PS4 in 2015... I'll get to it one day... Maybe.

I was the same way, just playing a few levels on and off to turn off my brain and kill some monsters! Though I have had this game for years on Xbox.

Campaign is pretty solid, I personally prefer the campaign in Revelations 1 over Revelations 2, but Raid mode in Rev2 is just on another level compared to the first game.

You should do the campaign. It was fun.

Except this invisible bastards. I hate those things lol.

Playing through it slowly at the moment, I died in one bit with loads of the invisible ones and just skipped the entire optional area rather than go through that again.

Yeah the invisible ones are annoying in raid mode as well... It's not like I haven't touched the campaign at all, started in co-op on PS4 with my wife but neither of us enjoyed playing 'the help' character, think we stopped a little into episode 3... And then played the first two episodes solo again when it released on Switch. That's when I got really into raid mode and the campaign ended up on my todo-list. But I really should play on... Even if only to unlock all raid characters.

Awesome! Raid Mode is my favorite MP mode in the series, even above Mercs. I loooove the RPG/customization stuff- it’s very addicting.

Totally agree. I like Mercenaries, but the variety of Raid Mode makes it my number 1. I love the customization options so you can really adjust your play style, and instead of worrying about combo-ing enemies, most of the time your goal is just to survive the onslaught!

Noice I’m working on it have any tips and/or tricks?

Barry with 4 magnums EZ mode lol

If they are strong enough you can do it with one magnum and no other guns.

So I have read various strategies online that basically amount to getting a powerful weapon that will empty the entire clip at once via a weapon part with homing ammo, and then "evade canceling" the animation once you kill each enemy. Which to be honest, does not sound fun to me at all. But something like that I guess is the "optimal" strategy.

My tips/tricks are really to get creative! I play as Hunk but ended up leveling up some other characters in order to inherit their skills onto Hunk, so look at characters and skills you think you might like.

Daily mission awards loads of experience and is the quickest way to level up a character.

Personally I found that I liked playing primarily with a rifle, so I loaded up on Sniper Rifle Mastery, and I found that a Machine Pistol with burning ammo was a very effective complement to my long range sniping, as burning damage will still wreck shielded enemies.

I also got a beefed up Anti-Material Rifle with a charge shot when I needed heavy hitting.

Any my best advice is (if possible) to play with a friend! I just think Raid Mode is even more fun with a partner, and then you can kinda mix up strategies even further and bring in different loadouts to help each other.

Get the rocket launcher skill inherited from Chris or alex's confusion skill. Both can save you when you run out of ammo. If you have a triple shot handgun, mod it with electric ammo and electrocute. It will instantly shred enemies because electric debuff stacks so if you get two or more electrocutes all your weapons are doing at least double damage while the enemy is affected. If you are trying to level up fast, focus on xp and gold mods for a magnum since they only affect killing shots. Never destroy mods, always destroy the weapon(even if it's level 100). It takes a thousand or more mods for a max level mod but only one lucky chance for a great weapon. Do the daily missions, they give great xp and gems.

Congrats! I'm pretty close myself, just have the last 3 gauntlets to clear. I've been putting it off because it's the only thing I haven't done in the game and I'm kinda not ready to be done with it yet.

Yup, my goal was to knock it out before RE8 so from this point on I am on the hype train!
