and you are so mad that you start smashing the retry button but accidentally select the easy mode
Haha dude the timing of this meme couldn't be better for me. I just started the Resident Evil 3 remake. I've only died 3 or 4 times and it's asking me if I want to play on assisted mode. Come on game, give me a chance to get in the groove before insulting me.ID: gwcbftoID: gwd1o4z
If they wanted it to sound like a suggestion it could be a random hint that shows up like once every 10 loading screens or whatever - and just more or less guarantee it if the person has reloaded the same save game like 3 times in a row.
I hate when I get killed a few times on a boss and the game is clearly letting me win on the next playthrough.ID: gwcatp2
Does any game do this without prompting you about easy mode? The only similar thing I can imagine is when you have 'lives' in a game and the boss health doesn't reset when you die.ID: gwcgqbf
I remember in Crash Bandicoot 3, if you die too much in one place, the game will start giving you a mask (protects you once) and I think also made checkpoints more frequentID: gwct2le
Happened to me once in Dmc5, but it was only once so that may have been rng.ID: gwcplkg
Lots of AAA games do this now. Don't like it? Play indie games.
MGSV chicken hat
This...this right fucking here...
NEVER have I felt more disrespected, and violated in my gaming life than when this happened.
I cant even explain why. Its such an inoffensive, meaningless thing that's completely irrational to get angry over.
But holy shit. In the moment it happens you just feel this unholy, heinous rage take hold.
I think spite for this is what made me get good enough to beat dmc 3 on dante must die.
Vergil was a filter for men and kids.
Don't remember what game but some game asked me the same way. After I died only a few times. Felt more like an insult than a suggestion
