- Didn't change anything for me. Anyone else?

10 pounds heavier.
ID: gy290qwID: gy29rsvI am 9 pounds lighter, I stopped having to have business lunches and pretend I like people.
and I stay up an extra hour to play games then when I had to drive to work.
ID: gy331n3I lowered my carb and sodium intake and lost 90 lbs. I've never felt better.
ID: gy2ldhaFor every death in the game, do one push up, one sit up, and one squat.
Between each match, do 5 of each.
Gotta maintain your health so that you can see the day when Half-life 3 comes out.
ID: gy2rxwkFor every death in the game, do one push up, one sit up, and one squat.
I die so much I would be Saitama in 1 year :'(
ID: gy2vusypulls up units lost tab ....yeah, i should stop playing zerg.
ID: gy2t7toHalf-life 3? Since when did exercising grant immortality
ID: gy25063Same
ID: gy2agcqDamn, I lost like 70 pounds during this thing and feel great for it. Admittedly some of it is muscle loss thanks to no gyms but yeah I know loads of guys who have put on now they aren't able to go to the gym anymore.
ID: gy2g83dI think i lost like 20 but in a very unhealthy way. My old nursing job was so busy i would be running around for hours and wouldn't really eat anything. I would work from 3pm to about 2am typically then go home and game for a bit to try and de-stress and maybe try to have a snack. Wouldn't eat in the morning before work because I'd just throw it up from the anxiety of what was gonna go wrong for that day. Needless to say i left that job and got a new one and it's been so much better in every aspect
ID: gy2eruaI'm down about 50ish? since the lockdowns (down 90 overall, but thats over 3 years).
The biggest thing was now that I work from home, theres a few extra hours each day to work out + its nice to just take a break from work and go for a run/lift at home. Before lunch breaks were leave work, go get food, eat, come back.. Now its easy enough to just take a few minutes to grab a bite from the fridge and lunch breaks are now gym breaks.

Only thing that changed is that every single game keeps getting delayed and the "dead period" is now twice as long and twice as insufferable
ID: gy29v1fPS5s, Series Xs, and new cards are so hard to come by right now that it probably doesn’t encourage many publishers to rush their timelines for games they’ve been finishing up. Might as well wait and refine while people actually get hardware in-hand. I agree it’s a bummer though.
ID: gy2t4grOn the plus side, to get a PS5 I had to buy it in a bundle with Demon's Souls. So now I'm hooked to Dark Souls, that should fill up some time at least.
ID: gy31lf6Look at this guy with his clear backlog

What changed, I finally had enough time to paint my Warhammer 40k models.
What stayed the same, I didn't paint a single Warhammer 40k model.
ID: gy23jp9And if you're anything like me you only feel motivated to do it at 3AM when you're trying to sleep.
ID: gy2f4arThat's always the case for me too. Mid day? Just not interested. Late at night, I need sleep, gotta get up early? Man, I want to finish off that model.
ID: gy2luieBought more 40k models with stimulus money to just leave unpainted.

the only thing that changed is that i have an excuse now lmao

Before: I probably ought to get up and go be sociable or at least do something productive.
During: By staying inside and playing games I'm not contributing to the spread of Covid. I'm basically saving lives!
After: You ungrateful sons of bitches! I saved you all and now you're telling me that I've been playing too much!

"After" Haha..ha
ID: gy2oox2Britain is already anticipating a fourth third wave later this year.
For the sake of the post I hope OP is a Kiwi.

Somehow the pandemic was fairly good to me. Lost 20lbs, stopped gaming as much, quit smoking weed, saved a metric fuck ton of cash, fell in love ( and got my heart broken but can't win everything ). I'm ready to clap 2022's cheeks.
ID: gy2w693Twisted my testicle this week and have had a surgery down there! Now I have a headache that haven't stopped bugging me for almost 3 days! Life was going well! Now I'm just happy if I can browse reddit without my headache getting worse! Glad to know that life is going well for someone! 😉
For anyone reading this, hope you have a great weekend!
ID: gy34molBeen there on the twist stuff, hang in there mate
ID: gy37mqwOh fuck my greatest fear is the twist. Every night when I roll over in bed I think "oh shit did I just do it?"

Hey now, some of us upgraded our systems during all this... or at least added more RGB!
ID: gy2vhkyI was delighted to have the cash to upgrade after the second stimulus check.
I was dejected to find that the only GPUs to be found are in the hands of scalpers.

My LARPing has shuffered tremedoushly.
ID: gy28irmI’m so sorry about that, Mr Connery.
-
I started going to the grocery store when they open at 7 instead of just before closing at 23. That's it.
-
My friends started playing a lot more games. So instead of hanging out irl, we have started playing more games together. Most of my close friends aren't hardcore gamers. I have 3 hardcore gamers friends, but only one of them i met irl first, the other 2 i met online and we become friends later. However most of my normal friends played almost no games before the pandemic. Now some of them play more than me. And i saved a lot of money, cause instead of going out eating or outdoor activities. I am just at home in front of my computer or at work. So from spending like $1000 each month (after bills) i only spend around $400.

I'm one of the lucky people who hasn't lost work. My life isn't drastically different. I've started eating better and lost 15 lbs. Local cars meets aren't really happening so I started my own but they're small. I do play more video games then I used to though.
-
Lol it's not over yet.
-
This guy's been playing the same game for over a year?
ID: gy30sd6Plenty of people do that.
-
Oh shittt here I go being depressed again
-
Posture check it boys. Don’t end up like me early twenties with chronic back pain.
-
I’m probably gonna get downvoted for saying this but I started to exercise with apple fitness plus which lead me to running on a treadmill at a gym and I stopped playing games as much and it makes me so happy because I used to sit 90 percent of the day and I finally feel productive and with my life now. I’ve had a hard time focusing on playing games for more than an hour or so for years and end up buying more games than beat them and I still do sadly.
ID: gy2fg3kPeople who downvote you would be simply evil, good to know you did something productive with your life. Keeping yourself out of the comfort zone is one of the hardest things ever.
-
Tf you mean "after pandemic"? We still in one
-
Well for some they have lost their source of income
