I can't tell if this is a little boy, little girl, or 95 year old woman who's pumped up for her new Nintendo

Uh me. I didn't fucking know what the hell my dad even brought home. Slowly, I began to get the concept of video games, though. Just had to understand Super Mario Bros.

Anyway, I had this set, I think, but the Zapper was gray.

The NES was like three steps ahead of the Atari consoles, which were the previous standard. This was high class stuff, bro.

The NES was part of the third console generation. I played some of the earlier consoles like TI and coleco and those looked rudimentary compared to the NES.

The TI did have a cool voice synthesizer though.

I got the triple pack one. Walked in my room and my ma had already connected it and had Mario bros paused on a new TV. That was a great day!
