Honestly, we’re lucky we even got Red Dead Redemption 2 and that largely pertains to it being in development long before GTA Online launch.
I’m sure they’ll EVENTUALLY release GTA 6 once the cow runs dry...assuming it ever does.

GTA 6 is definitely in development. You guys are crazy if you think the follow-up to the biggest release of all time isnt being worked on. V was in development for years before being announced.

You want GTA to be like CoD where it just gets shit out every year with minimal changes? Or do you want a game that's so great people are still playing it 8-fucking-years-later!?
You use GTAO as a skape-goat because the reality is, you have NO idea how video games are made.
Y'all jump back and forth between bitching that a game was rushed out too fast and bitching that a game isn't being rushed out fast enough.

ID: h0cyy59Don’t take it to heart people like to complain about this because it gives them a sense of purpose. GTAO is fun. It isn’t for others and instead of finding something else to do they complain and then when presented with an argument that makes sense or calls them out on their whiny bull shit they usually resort to personal attacks or calling people names because they don’t have a real argument they just want to be heard to validate there own sense of self worth. Just watch what happens to this post. This is pretty common in most subreddits when you challenge the status quo.

I just wish people had a better understanding on how video games (especially Rockstar games) are made. They are an extreme amount of work and take a long time.
RDR2 took 7 years and had over 1000 people working on it.
GTA6 will probably be even bigger and taken longer.

Even if GTAO was a scapegoat, the fact remains that Rockstar has become complacent. Hell, Valve of all people has made more progress than Rockstar

Y'all always forget about RDR2. Like holy smokes, just look at that game and ask yourself how Rockstar can possibly shit out another game with that quality in such short notice.
GTAV may have taken 3 years, but GTA6 will take much much longer. What do you guys not understand about that?
ID: h0cwrh7If you google development time for GTA V, it's only 3 years of full development. With preliminary works before of research and what not. It's already been 8 years and we haven't even heard anything yet of GTA 6...
With that in mind GTA 6 will have to be epic, but it won't. It'll just be like GTA 5 with 3 years of development or so. Otherwise the cost to make it, is too high.

Rockstar Games hasn't fallen. There are just wider gaps between the games they release these days and honestly as a fan I'm perfectly okay with that if it means we get more games like GTAV and RDR2.

I recently got back to playing it again. It's been fun so far, same shitty toxic playerbase as well as decent cool type.
The soloable heist is pretty neat too. Pretty much the best way to make money in game.

I'm not annoyed GTA VI hasn't come out cause I know it'll be worth the wait. I'm annoyed we never got the games in between the numbered titles like we did before.

Even if rdr2 was well into production before the success of gta online they could have still rushed many aspects to put out the game but they didn’t. GTA online was already a success by 2016, plenty of time for them to realize to maybe not add those insane details and stuff.
I am hopeful gta6 will be great as previous rockstar titles. People just gotta be patient. Rdr2 was a huge undertaking for them where all their studios had to work on it. I am sure gta6 is getting that same treatment. Regardless of online it’ll release when it’s ready.
