Yep. First game I'm excited for since The Last of Us 2, and Red Dead 2 before that. Not been hyped for any games lately, but I've been waiting for Dying Light 2 for ages. and there's a Battlefield reveal June 9! Super excited.

Technically, the Resident Evil series isn't truly post-apocalyptic. Various locales might become entirely desolate and dilapidated but the zombie outbreak of any game technically gets isolated to that area while the rest of the world goes on.

you are a guy that got bit, but you were saved by some parkour duo, the guy in the duo dies and you are basically made in to his replacement, the thing is you are actually a spy that was airdropped in and are looking for clues for something? you go through some shit and slowly develop a conscience and want to both complete your spy tasks as well as help these people. you kill some zombies, you get chased, and you kill some people, its great fun. The dlcs add quite a bit to the game as well.

Dying light’s story may have sucked, but I think the VA for the main character did a rocking job, especially for what he was working with script wise.
