Hello. I really want to play resident evil 4 but i get very scared really easy. The scariest game i have played is dead by daylight. Do you recommend resident evil 4 or is it to scary? I really dont want to get the game and never play it 🙂

Resident Evil 4 isn't really scary at all, it's definitely not a horror game. The beginning has a bit of an eery feeling but it quickly fades as you get more geared and the action begins to ramp up.

Scariest thing in the game is the man coughing at the very beginning.

Note that when you’re fighting, the enemy will slow down as they get close to you so as to give you a chance to shoot them.

That's genuinely true, first time I played the game that creeped me out but then you quickly realise that Leon is a backflipping superhero who has nothing to fear.

The game definitely has its creepy moments, but if you’re wise with your resources then you should be equipped to overcome your fears! There’s also some good comedic relief in the game thanks to Leon so it’s not overwhelmingly scary either

What do you consider scary? I dont think its scary, however it is something I can understand some could get scared playing.

I think like intense moments and small or big spaces is kind of scary. Really dark things (like The doctor without pants from outlast) and demons aint my thing either.

Resident evil 4 is one of the least scary in the franchise. As a matter of fact, with exception of RE7, resident evil is not so scary. It causes more jump scares than true fear.

Re4 is kinda the one that started the whole over the top action gameplay and all, but it does have some tense and scary moments, but compared to other re games its not that scary
