Super Mario Bros.

ID: h4wuctf

Started playing with my mom when I was 3. Little did she know she created a lifelong hobby

ID: h4xxolr

Samesies.

ID: h4xar5x

Same. Super Mario trio cartridge that had duck hunt and that track game where you had to run on the pads.

ID: h4xgpst

Wild, there was a trio? My first game was the Mario-Duck Hunt combo

ID: h4wjnqu

You are right

ID: h4xej5j

One of my earliest memories is playing this game. We got the NES for Christmas, and I was on the first level, and my mom was telling me to hit “A” to jump over that first goomba. I was so young and stupid that I was hitting the “A” decal furiously and dying a few times before my mom was like, “Kid. Seriously. The button UNDER the ‘A.’”

ID: h4vymv1

Me too. I still play the first 3.

ID: h4xazqs

The one with duck hunt?

Eaten by a grue.

There is a mailbox here. (That's all I can remember from the first description from Zork 1.)

Total overdose

ID: h4vvbsr

Ah I'll forever remember this game.

5 : Anonymous2021/07/12 04:26 ID: h4vx85h

Can't remember if it was Pac Man or Centipede, arcade or Atari 2600

ID: h4whrfa

Mine was pac-man on the Atari 5200 and Centipede/Xain'd Sleena at the arcade.

6 : Anonymous2021/07/12 04:00 ID: h4vuwgy

...pong?

ID: h4wl9el

Same. I was born a couple of years after it came out, but it was definitely the first game I played.

ID: h4x10o7

Space invaders, on the Atari 2600... wood grain finish version of course.

7 : Anonymous2021/07/12 04:05 ID: h4vvdg4

ID: h4wpxry

I bought the collection not long ago.

It... doesn't hold up 🙁

12 : Anonymous2021/07/12 08:04 ID: h4wd3gv

Alex the Kidd in Miracle World or maybe Tetris on the GameBoy.

13 : Anonymous2021/07/12 04:17 ID: h4vwi90

I do believe it was Canon fodder on my amiga. I still have my original boxed game with the floppy disks. Now there's gonna be a bunch of people confused as to what a floppy disk is haha I'm only 30 man!

14 : Anonymous2021/07/12 04:52 ID: h4vzgjn

When I was 10-years old, I broke my leg. My friend lent me his Atari 2600 for a couple weeks while I was laid up. Pitfall, Yar's Revenge, and Asteroids were the ones I remember playing the most.

15 : Anonymous2021/07/12 06:48 ID: h4w81rs

Prince of Persia. The original.

16 : Anonymous2021/07/12 04:14 ID: h4vw6ii

Syphon Filter on PS1, '99 or '00

ID: h4wfnlr

Oh man I remember that game. Didn't it have some sort of taser gun in it?

ID: h4wg8kt

Oh for sure, you could taser people until they caught on fire. It was also the first game I played that had night vision. It was so fucking cool!

17 : Anonymous2021/07/12 04:54 ID: h4vzlq5

Chip's Challenge or Rodent's Revenge on Win 3.1. Back when simple satisfied and novelty was not boring. I'd get up and play in the early morning and piss off my brother with one midi file. Oh I spent a while brewing his terror... how late it was, though... How many keys and cheeses I ate... hey, I have nostalgia. It's not fair to hate.

18 : Anonymous2021/07/12 06:29 ID: h4w6qjy

Crystal Caves. Spent years playing the old Apogee platformers, still love them today.

19 : Anonymous2021/07/12 04:08 ID: h4vvmwx

God I loved that game.

King's Quest

21 : Anonymous2021/07/12 05:48 ID: h4w3tnx

Anyone remember Choplifter or Lode Runner on Apple IIE? Wow so many memories

22 : Anonymous2021/07/12 04:04 ID: h4vvacu

Megaman X on the Super Nintendo in 1997 with my uncle it was one of my favourite memories because my uncle is the closest thing to a father figure seeing how he raised me as his own son

23 : Anonymous2021/07/12 04:19 ID: h4vwn68

Dig Dug

ID: h4whcb8

Definitely not my first but probably some of my favorite/most vivid early gaming memories were Dig Dug.

24 : Anonymous2021/07/12 04:08 ID: h4vvmxy

Circus Charlie (1984) on NES

25 : Anonymous2021/07/12 04:04 ID: h4vv8wo

Windows xp

26 : Anonymous2021/07/12 04:27 ID: h4vxb9q

I'm not 100% sure, but it was something on my mother's Atari 2600, before we had money to buy a new console.

If I had to take a guess, it would be Atari Tanks. There are a lot of photos of me and my great grandfather playing Tanks together. He can be quoted as saying "No idea the hell I'm doin', but we're havin' fun!"

A true hero.

27 : Anonymous2021/07/12 04:41 ID: h4vyjbr

I remember playing Spy Hunter on my 3rd birthday. Good times.

28 : Anonymous2021/07/12 04:43 ID: h4vyq11

29 : Anonymous2021/07/12 05:34 ID: h4w2qnk
