As great as it'd be, it's just not business wise or worth trying in there eyes.

I love that they're still making these and giving them away for free. The past LBP games always had tons of great DLC costumes, but they were $3-5 each

Does Sackboy have consistent content to warrant this? I know LBP did, but I thought this recent Sackboy was a singleplayer adventure.
ID: hdqomf5You know how Mario 3D world goes from a decent game to an amazing one with couch coop? Sackboy is similar. It’s a ton of fun when you’re playing with other people. Super jolly and something anyone can play even if they’re not great at video games.
But for a single player game it’s probably more one and done.
ID: hdqkvfvIt's a multiplayer co-op game as well, with some side mission levels designed to only be completed with two players. It's fun to play with others, but I'll admit you'll maybe only get one or two plays out of it.

Maybe this is then just targeting new buyers of the PS5 which is currently still a consistently saturated value.

Maybe it’s because of Sackboy’s inherent cuteness but these costumes made me giggle. Something about that frowny face holding a bow and arrow and the other with a hammer is hilarious.
I’m looking forward to this game dropping to $20ish to finally getting around to playing it.

ID: hdvhlsrI finally got around to getting it on sale when it was $20 on Amazon, it damn near is a PS5 game, even has 3D audio. Only thing missing is the haptics and especially adaptives, which would be sick. Otherwise, it's super smooth, one of (if not the) best performing native PS4 game I've played yet

FOR FUCKS SAKE MAKE SOME NEW LEVELS. They did all the costuming the world needed with sacknana. Sackboy is honestly the best time I’ve had with a game in two decades, I just want more of the same, it’s wonderful.
ID: hdsy4rmIMO this is one of the best PS5 titles available so far. Always play co-op. Every time I play, I’m amazed by the animations and all the details.

As much as I enjoy TLOU... This is an unexpected crossover, lol. Maybe even a bit inappropriate.
Edit: seems that people don't realise Sackboy and TLOU have primarily two completely distinct audiences. Just imagine a kid looking up a video of TLOU to get to know the characters they've just got the new costumes of. As an adult and big fan of both games, I loved it, but I also know I was not the audience Sony had in mind for Sackboy when it was first conceived.
