I still love my Steelseries Arctis 1 wireless headset. It's around $100 but has been so versatile for pretty much every gaming situation over the past year since I got it. It comes with a USB-C 2.4 dongle and an extension adapter for a regular USB connection on a PS4 (as well a 1/4" wire if you forget to charge it). I now use it with my PS5 with the new 3D audio and it sounds way better than my PS4 Gold wireless headset (and is MUCH MORE comfortable, especially for wearing an hour or two at a time). I can also use the Arctis 1 wirelessly with my Nintendo Switch in either docked or handheld mode. It's just so versatile, sounds great, comfortable, battery lasts a long time, and I've never had any issues with it across so many devices. And there's also some software that comes with it of you need to go in and tweak any settings. I did boost the bass with a profile setting and it gave it that little bit of oomph to make everything sound a little less thin. I have been happy with the sound ever since. I don't ever really use the microphone, but have used it in Zoom calls and everyone else said that I sounded really good and clear.
They also make a wired version that's about half the price, but I have not used that one so I cannot attest to it.

I bought this three months ago and have zero complaints with it.

I just pick up my turtle beach 700 stealth gen 2 for $150.00 and Im very impressed by the sound quality they put out. They have a app that you download from the google play store & it allows you to tune into to different sound categories like super human hearing witch I use when playing cod. Long battery life & great microphone overall I would give it a 8/10 just because they don't have mix/chat I guess Sony is removing this function with all new headsets.
