I'm doing my first ever play through of Skyrim and the game is so good!!!

Infamous 2 is still one of my favorite games. Nothing ever made me feel more like a superhero/villain than the multiple play throughs I did.

Still remember the joy of walking the games aisle looking at all the incredible box art and even the odd shaped ones meant to grab your attention!
Slightly off topic, when buying Half life’s Orange Box (or whatever it was called) I asked the sales person ‘what’s this Portal game’
‘Arguably the best thing in there!’ He said.

I’ve played three of these. Only two have three in the name the other is full of block heads. The first one was my second game in the series I played and there first in its specific sub series was considered one of the most influential games of all time and the other is the one about people who mutated by a parasite fighting people mutated more by that parasite and regular people in a three way war with an nfl player who’s name fits his favorite word and a guy who can not die.

Gears 3 + Dark Souls <3
I'll never forget Skyrim being my most anticipated game ever, but then when Dark Souls came out I honestly barely cared about Skyrim anymore. I still went to the Skyrim midnight release and had a great time with it, but I only put a hundred or so hours into it vs. 1800+ hours in Dark Souls as of today.

So much time spent on MW3, Uncharted 3, and Dead Space 2! And some fun days on BF3 and Arkham City. I miss it

Might argue the golden era was during NES/SNES times...but some great titles there for sure.

Decent but for me I think 2007-2010 was the golden era. Might be because I had a 360 but still.

Dark souls 1 and Skyrim came out in the same week, and they are both my favourite games till this day.

Of the 25 games on this list all but 4 are sequels, or remakes. Of those 4 all of them have had sequels, re-releases or major content updates. Actual new games are rare these days.

I mean binding of isaac afterbirth is a dlc that came out in 2015 for a game that came out in 2014, don't know how that's 2011

A couple of those games will most likely never be surpassed. Copied and tweaked but not surpassed.

Holy Shit that's a baaaad take. Portal 2 is one of the best games ever made, Arkham City is absolutly amazing, what can I say about Skyrim. That hasn't already been said, it's great. KOTR is legendary, I could keep going. You are so incredibly wrong dude. Edit: shit it's Old Republic not KOTR, don't know how I even though that came out that year. But my point remains the same

I've played all of those except knights of the old republic, and I got about 30 minutes into each of them before I just couldn't do it anymore

Deus Ex was so good, my first platinum. Too bad the sequel wasn't that good.
