I think it's just the barrel. TweaK released a video on his YouTube channel with the SCAR-L you can buy from PK2 and it's got 1.61 MOA which is much more reasonable.

Just had an extremely wholesome VOIP moment.

I'm coming around crackhouse on my way to RUAF extract. as I'm swinging around the left of the building, I hear rustlingn inside.

At that point i know there are PMC's next to me, at least one. So I yell "Yo I'm friendly!"

One guy yells back "Well we're not!"

I'm shitting my pants because I finally have three salewas for Therapist and dont want to get wasted by dudes. I say "man please let me go! I wont shoot!"

He asks for my gun, I say it's a shitty shotgun. He says "well come out with your knife around the corner.

I'm all, "IDK man, i feel like you're gonna waste me." He goes "Well we're a three man and you're alone, so you're gonna die whether you trust us or not, so might as well try it!"

I say fuck it and come out axe swinging, hands in air. He wasn't lying, three dudes, geared to the extent that we can be onn day two of a wipe. He asks where my extract is and I tell him, he wishes me well and allows me on my way.

I Love VOIP already.

On woods last night, PMC run, found the USEC camp but couldn't find the convoy. I was near Scav Tower and noticed a player scav in my peripheral vision. I asked for help to locate the convoy and scav buddy walked me over there, then he walked me to extract with 0 energy left. We extracted together with 10 second left. It happens when they have a high volume of players. It improves matching times as raids end faster which means a new one can start more frequently

Felt the same way. I spawn on woods and waited to see Idol judge op someone pushed use camp since I had to go for a quest and it's a pretty high traffic area and I waited for what felt like 2-4min and I remember it being close to 35 than to 45

Scavs seem buffed. I have to put like a full mag into them now (even accounting for terrible ammo). Also they seem far more aggressive. Can anyone else speak to this?

Scavs got an HP buff. I shot one in the head (only kill that raid) and did exactly 40 damage. So it looks like the AI has more hp now

They have been buffed several times since the last wipe, last time right before the wipe with a complete overhaul of the scav AI. They can now use tactics and gang up on players, chase sounds and communicate better with each other. Scav raiders and Rogues are even stronger and use more complex tactics.

They are also not affected by blacked limbs, and do not have inertia.

Hi, I play in the Asia region and am surprised by how many V0IP stories have already been shared because at Tokyo/Seoul/Hong Kong servers I've met just 2 single PMC and 1 PMC party using it in something like 30 raids. Even if I always try to talk at first, people do not answer.

What is your experience with V0IP and how often do you meet people who use it in your region?

Mods removed my suggestion post under Rule 8 despite the front page being flooded with VOIP posts, so here's my suggestion:

Suggestion: Limit the range of your VOIP broadcast to correspond with your walking speed

This way, you could scroll down to half speed or all the way down to slowest walk to speak softly or "whisper" to a player close by so as not to reveal yourself to unknown 3rd parties in the immediate vicinity. Obviously leave max range where it is currently

This is a cool suggestion, but would come with the side effect of making you whisper if anything effects your speed. I think fractures set you to low speed (not positive) so you cant talk loud if your leg is broken

Yeah you pretty much got me there. I guess they could just introduce an additional slider above or below the walk speed bar where you could +scrollwheel to set this if they wanted to implement this as a feature

DayZ lets you use the arrow keys to change the distance of your VOIP, with three corresponding levels that pop up. It should definitely be introduced into Tarky.

Hiding in a bush and a player scav started shotgunning me, shouted out through voip to stop and he did! ended up going to PMC & SCAV extract, I think the human element of shooting someone stopped him from killing me

What's with scavs having raider aim and awareness? Was on woods and a random scav spotted me from over 100m away when facing away from me (wasn't marked for death), missed his first shot then headshot me with the second. I'm not great at this game, but normally scavs are just free kills.

Yup. My squad and I have been pinned om customs a few times. Once was pushing gas station from under train bridge, heading for exfil. My poor paca did nothing to stop the PS round fired off from sniper scavs op-sks. Killed 5 pmc's that raid too...

Said what's up to a scav on Reserve, he answered as well as PMC from below. The scav asks the guy "Are you a PMC?" Guy below says yes, so I 1 tapped the PMC. All us scavs start immedaitely laughing and my buddy watched me as I loot. Full inventory, m4 and lvl 4 armor hehehe.

Sniper scavs are real threat now. I spawned Customs old gas, and was shot instantly by sniper on big tower. And it's about 200meters away. Didnt understand where am i shot at for few seconds. Not only snipers, but regular scavs see and shoot farer tgan before

I don’t know if it’s the inertia. It probably is. But I am getting killed so much now. In the after action report I also see that my shots just didn’t or barely hit my enemies. Even when I am sure I got a few shot I just do zero damage and getting owned. Didn’t have this before.

Stupid question but if one day I dont play this game anymore is there really no legal way to sell it? I honestly didnt know that its illegal to sell digital games. Back in the days of CD/DVD games you could sell.

Is it because of people leveling up and then selling or because its tied to your email?

I honestly am surprised there isnt some platform that allows this, of course the game would be reset and Im not talking only about Tarkov but overall you know, there are many single player only games and Im sure we all have a bunch of digital copies we dont play anymore and its a shame we cant at least get some money back
