People ussually say that the backgroundyou have on the gaming scene, doesnt matter as soon as you start playing tarkov, just because it has such a different game, movement, gun handling mechanic.
And me a dude with 5k Hours on CSGO, that started playing tarkov 3 years ago, allways said the contrary, and people allways said I was crazy, that it doesn matter.
Well, this videos says Im right.
I allways felt more relaxed and hitting more shots than most of my mates, that didnt had that much of an history on FPS shooters.
And CSGO, probably is the best game you can play, in order to transition yourself to Tarkov.

ID: h6w0hednot even tbh, the smoothing and aim tracking are completely different. The biggest thing is probably just the confidence for head shots that you get on CS, and the fact that most good CS players are playing at 350-400 DPI

I'm always curious about how good I would be at new shooters if I played in my "prime".
Was in OGL East back in 1999-2001, basically top 10 CS team on the east coast.. and now I'm absolutely mediocre at best at any shooter lol.

I've been playing CS since 1.3 on the HL1 engine. Picked up tarkov and I go in as a scav and i'm smashing people, then go in geared and i can't aim.
Realised it's because when you wear chad armour it reduces your "turn speed" aka it lowers your mouse sensitivity. It's back breaking when thousands of hours of muscle memory is broken because of some vague attempt to make it more "realistc".
Think i need to get some Mouse DPI configs to compensate for heavy armor loadouts.

Forget the one taps. What should be complimented is how you hugged cover on the right and shielded yourself from dome. Used the tight angle on the first one and then fell back, allowed the other guy to fully expose himself, silhouetted against the light background.
And you're buddy's cold steel nerves just faking being right there 😀
