Is Gematsu just late on reporting this April Fools joke, or is this actually happening? The video and Patreon post are from April 1st, and this just seems too weird to be real. If it is real, I feel very out of the loop. The Seinfeld references seem too few and far between to be the core of the game and just feel shoehorned in.

I don't think this will ever see the light of day and is wishful thinking on the devs part that he can release this on PS5. It has copywritten material and even has a Tim Hortons which certainly isn't allowed.

ID: gtpnuwaYou can use brand names and logos all you want in games, movies, etc. It just can't be an endorsement or cause confusion that it's sponsored or be libelous of course. That's why Seinfeld the TV show was full of real brands all over every episode. Most TV shows etc avoid it because they don't want to offend advertisers or investors. That's USA law at least. I'm guessing it's universal or else Seinfeld in other countries would be full of blurs and beeps every episode whenever they mention Bosco or Ovaltine etc.

Starting to feel really glad I never went crazy looking for a PS5 if this is what I have to look forward too.
ID: gtp6hmkThis is an indie game developed by a no-budget developer. The reason it seems to be coming to PS5 exclusively is because the game was initially developed in Dreams, which is a owned by Sony.
