Me and my friend have been addicted to this game. It's so fun and we're enjoying it so much we bought both season passes that are currently on sale. It has a wonderful progression system with cool weapon upgrades, perks and powers for your character. Even has Load outs.
Also has many Easter Eggs referencing movies and other games. Even has a Kratos like character to play as. Lol
Game has many unique Zombie Varients to fight and gets very intense also. It also happens to look pretty great on PS5 at 4K 60fps. The game also controls very well and is accessible to everyone.
If you love some Zombie killing action you won't be disappointed. I wasn't expecting to like the game as much as I do but I tried it and now I can't stop playing it.

I couldnt put it down since they gave it away, horde mode was my favourite, it could get really crazy with so many zombies to blow to bits! It was really fun! Might even come back for the DLC one day, they are on sale right now too.

Is it like call of duty zombies or a left 4 dead type game? I already downloaded the game but haven’t really tried to play it.
ID: guqp08tID: guqru96More like left 4 dead with sniper elite mechanics. There’s safe rooms, little objectives to do in each act, and missions with 4 acts to each one similar to how L4D did them. I got hooked after playing for a few hours. The upgrading keeps you interested. It’s also really fun with friends.
ID: guquuuqIt's sort of like Left 4 Dead crossed with Wolfenstein. A lot of fun solo or with friends and the difficulty is surprisingly customisable. If you've played Sniper Elite you'll know more or less what sort of game it is. Less about stealth and more about just running and gunning down am endless amount of zombies which is very satisfying. I ended up buying both season passes which are currently on sale as I was enjoying it so much which definitely surprised me. A hidden gem is what I'd call this game, especially if you can play with a friend.

so... do the guns become unlocked thru play? or are literally most of the guns behind a paywall... all i’m seeing is plenty of dlc guns and like.. 3-4 guns in the base game per category

I tried it and thought it was the most clunky, generic zombie game I've ever played. The performance also dips quite often and it stutters.

ID: gur0fzpHard disagree. On PS5 I’ve never gotten a single performance dip and I think the game has a ton of personality. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, everyone I know is having a blast.
ID: gureg5zMaybe you just aren't as sensitive to frame drops then? It very obviously drops frames when fighting enemies in larger areas. It goes down to about 50-55. That doesn't sound bad but its also coupled with a weird stutter as well (even when framerate is still high). I've also read and heard from multiple other people that they are experiencing the same thing. Also, I can have my own opinion about whether the game is good or not.

I’m surprised how well I enjoy the horde mode. My only gripe is everybody wants to escape after level 12 and I want to keep going.

How is it with randoms? I don’t have any consistent gaming buddies. I did have some fun with Killing Floor 2, which this seems in some ways reminiscent of.
ID: guqwuphSpend a lot of time finding good groups to play in. Most of the time you join and as soon as you load up, host has already kicked you out.

Remember playing the first one and loving it (i was big into cod zombies back then) but never picked up the sequels of zombie army. 4 is great, especially with the ps5 update. Worth the pickup

Id say between those two it leans more towards L4D but its pretty much sniper elite but zombies and more close quarters levels
