The fact that every enemy has its own pixel version. Even giant bosses
Same with the topiary, its hilarious to see the seekerpede or even the Nefarious mech turned into shrubbery

ID: h345bvhI'm not convinced of this honestly, to me it looks like it's taking how the model looks from the players perspective and turning it into a pixel model with some kind of filter. Once the enemy is defeated then it freezes in space. I've been playing the 2016 version (which has this weapon) recently and I'm 99% certain this is how it works.
Still really cool though, just this method means they can design a single system for all enemies rather than spend dozens of hours on new models.

Friendly reminder that charging the pixeliser blue causes the haptics in the dualsense to play a tune. Not the speakers, the vibrations play a song!

ID: h33ifqyAt level 5, you can charge the weapon up by holding down the trigger half way.
All the weapons change at level 5 in some way, but it’s not very clear.

One of my favorite guns to use in 2016 Ratchet and Clank. I have Rift Apart installed, just waiting to get around to it

I hate myself bc I played through Rift Apart without Pixelizer only to realize after I got Plat that I had launch edition which would have given me the Pixelizer for my whole first playthrough. Kill me…

I like the digitization effect, but I never got much of a sense that I was doing any damage. It lacked some of the feedback that other weapons had.
ID: h33c56aOne of the gold bolt options turns on hit points, another turns on crit hit indicators. They helped a lot in determining damage!

No one is talking about the ricochet, the gun is very strong if you get the timing down.
ID: h33fq7wOnly downside is that it only targets one, sometimes you get overwhelmed by other enemies. But yea good when all your minions are deployed.
ID: h345bblI actually got a trophy for killing two enemies with one ricochet shot. It's called "No Need For Multiball."
But it may have just been that it killed two at once, but only targets one.

Just a friendly tip: you can assign your favorite 4 weapons to each of the d-pad buttons! Makes switching back and forth a lot quicker and smoother

ID: h33rkklThis was my play style as well. Throw in the bombardier as well for that little bit of extra oomph. I really enjoy making the game fight itself.

Love the weapon but the enforcer outclasses it at higher levels (if they're both used for the purposes of a shotgun) imo.
ID: h32ovdhThis. They are both basically shotguns, and IMO the enforcer (later on executor) is the best shotgun in the entire series.

Eh. One of my least used weapons personally. Which is weird, cuz I loved it in the last one so..

Is it a secret weapon or something? I finished the game and have not found it yet.
ID: h32ihstYou have to start challenge mode (new game plus) after finishing a play though. Once you meet Mrs. Zurkon for the first time again, you can get it for free along with the Bouncer Weapon

They all have dedicated animations for each of the weapons, not just the models for pixelizer / sprinkler. Pretty amazing level of detail.
