Darth Sidious Voice Good! Good!

3 : Anonymous2021/07/24 11:31 ID: h6ct4hc

Bro, you Red Devil you. This is a computer I dream about, enjoy it!

4 : Anonymous2021/07/24 12:11 ID: h6cw7lj

Very nice my dude! The whole thing is on point, but great move with the clear liquid and the subtlety of the red next to (under?) the mostly black cables is chef’s kiss for me. I did red/black alternating sections with my 6800xt midnight black / 4000D blacked out build and I often think about going for all black sleeves. Great!

Thank you. And nice job on getting that Midnight 6800XT, probably the best looking GPU from AMD, ever. I know lots of people think red and black builds are played out, but just can't get away from going red. And funnily enough I've contemplated going with the red and black cables often.

Thx. I got lucky w the MB. It’s probably the only reason I’ve not gone full custom loop. Temps are actually not bad (usually) with an under volt. Be well! Oh, and I’ve had a red devil 5700xt and 6700xt on the way to where I landed. It was tough to give up the 6700xt, but price I got on the MB decided it.

Clean af bro, i hope it serves you long and well brother ❤️✨

ID: h6cy31x

Kind words my man, truly appreciate them. The plan is to keep rocking this one for a long while.

ID: h6cyfia

I think this will keep you satisfied for at least 3 years, and if you don't mind, would you like to shoot me detailed specs of this awesome build brother?

7 : Anonymous2021/07/24 10:59 ID: h6cquwp

Clean AF.

I cant get my pc to look good with rgb. Any tips?

ID: h6d8i16

Got any pics? Could try and help steer you in the right direction.

ID: h6dd57v

The top pcie slot is dead and I'm in the process of an rma so the gpu would normally be up a slot. I cant change the red on the gpu. I want to put the same rgb fans on my aio. I have 1 rgb strip in the right side. I'm thinking about putting it up top like you have yours. I have a second strip but I need a splitter to use it.

I'm thinking maybe some aftermarket heat spreaders on the ram might make it look alittle better. The aio doesnt have any rgb, but it has normal fittings on it so I plan on expanding it to a full loop with clear or maybe black soft tubing. All of that after a gpu upgrade first.

Looks great !

...but .. aren't you blowing hot air off of the bottom RAD back into your setup?

Potentially causing issues if RAM and VRM's get too warm? ..and/or negating some of your overall cooling ..?

ID: h6csqji

Thanks! And the liquid temp stays under 30C, so the air isn't hot or anything.

ID: h6cv66q

I am using an O11 Dynamic XL, and I started naively by having all three rads sending air out, that the case was completely air starved to the point where temperatures would climb to +22C over ambient water temps.

I reversed the side rad fans to blow air in (now my HDDs are actually running lower temps too), and installed 3x Noctua NF-A14s at the front, and everything is fine and dandy.

What are your CPU temps in games that use CPU a lot and get high frame rates? The worst offenders for me up to now were Dragon Age Inquisition and Far Cry 5, and I'm at around 79C for the best two cores and in the 40s -60s for the rest of the cores. The 3090 has a big die so it stays at the 48-50C range, and even the hot spot doesn't climb above 60-62C.

When AMD moves to 5nm they need to think of something for the tiny really hot spots these CPUs get.

Gorgeous !!!

11 : Anonymous2021/07/24 11:50 ID: h6culnw

which case is this? 😀

12 : Anonymous2021/07/24 12:01 ID: h6cvfyx

Red Alert!

13 : Anonymous2021/07/24 12:41 ID: h6cyuot

Looks clean, mind listing the water cooling parts you’re using ? Cheers

ID: h6d0fom

Thanks, and I suppose I should have done that from the start.

Once more the Sith will rule the galaxy...

15 : Anonymous2021/07/24 13:35 ID: h6d3zxx

That looks awesome! How'd you top up the res?

ID: h6d7kxv

Yeah it's a bit of a PITA. Have to loosen the rear screws on the bottom rad, and it'll tilt forward just enough to get a tube in there.

ID: h6d8l65

Oh wow, I went shorter on my tube for this reason... I'm jealous of the look though!

16 : Anonymous2021/07/24 13:48 ID: h6d5ap4

Dude the lighting in your build is so nice! It’s red but just kinda bathed in it! Gorgeous!

17 : Anonymous2021/07/24 13:51 ID: h6d5og4

Epic bro.

18 : Anonymous2021/07/24 14:10 ID: h6d7pjx

I thought about getting one of these but I needed those CUDA cores for editing. Nice build

19 : Anonymous2021/07/24 14:17 ID: h6d8gov

Beautiful. i'm still waiting for my luck to turn to get my hands on a 6900xt to complete my build. i'm on vacation now so i keep my eyes opened lol

my upvote is all yours, you sexy devil

20 : Anonymous2021/07/24 14:26 ID: h6d9gt8

They should have galleries of beautiful custom computers. I would pay to go

21 : Anonymous2021/07/24 14:37 ID: h6danwh

Literally gasped the words "Jesus fucking Christ"

Fair play.

22 : Anonymous2021/07/24 15:31 ID: h6dh85j

I don't know why, but loops with clear liquid look so god damn great. Fantastic work, OP!

23 : Anonymous2021/07/24 15:39 ID: h6di8u2

Ah.. I see that you too are a man of culture

ID: h6dittq

Looks great man, glorious even with those T H I C C rads.

6900xt Very nice

26 : Anonymous2021/07/24 17:38 ID: h6dx05x

This is the way.

27 : Anonymous2021/07/24 17:52 ID: h6dyoaj

impressive you're #5 with this combo...

28 : Anonymous2021/07/24 17:55 ID: h6dz1rf

I am finding my 5950X hardly gets off idle gaming and although there are instantaneous thermal spikes there is little to worry about. FSP 240w. TDP "Six" does it. I think the real highs aren't as they are noticed so quickly, therefore no heat truly built.

29 : Anonymous2021/07/24 18:04 ID: h6e057y

Absolutely stunning! Nice!

30 : Anonymous2021/07/24 18:23 ID: h6e2iub

So smooth! I’m using the R9 5950x for my build that I’m working on rn. How’s the temps on that beast for you?

31 : Anonymous2021/07/24 18:24 ID: h6e2mpy

Holy shit those Time Spy scores

32 : Anonymous2021/07/24 18:43 ID: h6e4zof

That build is fire! Super clean bro.

33 : Anonymous2021/07/24 18:51 ID: h6e5win

This is what NEOs rig would look like is it wasnt 1999

34 : Anonymous2021/07/24 18:55 ID: h6e6c42

Looks like if Satan had a pc

I didn't get the power color because I had never heard of them, and they were the only ones in stock during the shortage, so I assumed it was some off brand garbage

Sapphire has always given me the best hardware so I just went with them as soon as I saw one available.

Now that I've learned the error of my ways, am I missing out on all that much?

ID: h6e9bpy

Your good, Sapphire is one of the tops for AMD GPUs. I've seen some Nitro+ 6900XT put down some great clocks and scores. I think that PowerColor has been getting better and better with every generation and have caught up to Sapphire. Just by chance I've had hands on experience with the Red Devil RX580, Vega 64, 5700XT, and now 6900XT. No issues with any of them and all are still in use. I wasn't going fo another Red Devil, just got lucky at Microcenter.

ID: h6ea31g

Oh, I know Sapphire is good. I've used them (and AMD gpus exclusively) for 15 years. Solid quality. I was more lamenting that for just a paltry sum more than what I paid (with prices now, 100$ more is chump change compared to the first billion you spend) I could have had a more powerful, more efficient variant. Am I missing out all that much compared to the DIABLO ROJO?

BTW, nice build. Extremely clean. Makes me feel bad about mine.

36 : Anonymous2021/07/24 19:26 ID: h6ea1nb

I like those airbubbles 😀 This might sound weird i know. But with the red ring on that reservoir, it looks like something volcanic that heats up the water. And I love it!

But then again, i'm a fan of red and black, so I'm naturally biased here 😀
