They'd make amazing wallpapers. It always gave a huge amount of relief when you saw them after finishing a tough boss fight

Albert Marin has remastered them and posted them for download, unfortunately i do not remember where. It's either on his social media or YouTube, all i know is i remember him saying he released them in HD in one of the RE4 HD Project videos

I've been looking for them for so long too. I've found some clean versions in the Biohazard 4 cd artbook but they're rescaled to a tiny resolution.

Leon looks extra pretty on this because of the heavy filters and for some reason, his subtle monolid eyes.

I believe the RE4 HD Project creators have these backgrounds remastered somewhere in their website without the chapter details. I've seen them before, but imo they don't have the same charm as these because of the higher definition textures and the lack of grain and filters.

They can be ripped from the game. I don't think there's any official sources for the artwork.
